If you ever want to go to melton country park in your motorhome the only car park is up Scalford road 2nd right up Laycock avenue 2nd left up Wycliffe Avenue 1st right down Redwood Avenue 1st right onto Willow Drive car park on the right, Thanks again for your videos take care, Nigel & Judy.

Great video, we are heading to Eye Kettleby on Thursday for a few nights, staying on Southern section, will be our first visit and looking forward to it, but Westgate Carr in Pickering on Monday then over to Eye Kettleby 🤙🚐
We love Eye Kettleby. Only a 45 minute drive away from home for us. A little expensive per night, but well worth every penny. Fantastic level pitches and a lovely bar with outdoor area. Great in the summer months and great fish for anglers. Also nearby is Wymondham Windmill. Well worth a visit for a brilliant lunch and if you love history. Lovely to see you record this Bob. One of our favourite sites. D+S x
Not too far away from us! Were looking at pods to stay in last year but couldn't get in & it wasn't cheap! Would still love to go there though and visit Melton Mowbray, lovely video! Poppy bless her needed the loo I take it?! xx
What a mahoosive site! The facilities looked great and to be fair the prices were reasonable considering they offered water, waste and TV hook ups. We were quoted £30 a night for a local site were we live as we are having 3 weeks of building work on the house and our oldest dog is very nervous. So it gives us the perfect excuse for a sneaky break! Guy.
*£32 a night at Premier Inns at Local Sites including VAT Air Con/Heating and with shower & Luxury exceeding the best equipped Camper Van = say no more !*
Hope you had a great time, we will definitely return here! The Southern Meadow was fabulous in September and the facilities buildings were superb on there.

We have stayed many times and love the site, very busy throughout the summer months. Great that you can book specific pitches, other clubs should adopt this process. Your the 3rd video in a short time I have seen, as mentioned Andrew and Karen, also Carefree Caravanning and motorhomes have put their videos for Eye Kettleby on You Tube. Was is it Father Brown or Father Ted you were watching? 😀
Our go to local weekend site - its 40 minutes from our house - brilliant site - great bathrooms (that we never use because we use our own but if you dont use yours these are really great) brilliant "clubhouse" - no bingo just a great facility - we probably go 4 weekends a year - cannot recommend enough - not cheap but you get what you pay for
Been coming here for the past 10 years and have seen a lot of changes in that time what with the new touring pitches and the club house extension but it's still one of our favourite sites

Another great video. I’m definitely booking this year. I did check the website but the map of the pitches doesn’t show the dog walking field just the dog shower so I’ll have to give them a call. We have three dogs so like to be near the dog walking facilities. The downside of that is they like to bark at the other dogs as they head to the field! Thanks as always for sharing your adventures.
Now your talking this is a gem of a site ..I live half hour away .. bit pricey but you get what you pay for .. Best site I'm been on tbh and the shower are hotel standard if not better

Have you been to Old Oakes Glastonbury absolutely gem of a site been many times there too has to be the best site I’ve stayed on in over 35 years of caravanning. Happy Caravanning

Nonsense! They were well spaced out pitces, fully serviced with your own washroom, bar, shop, acres to walk in, with entertainment and fishing lakes in beautifully landscaped grounds. Last time I was squeezed in like sardines was an Aire in Normandy where I could barely open the door fully.
