I remember me and my friend tried to explain Kingdom Hearts to my other friend who only had second-hand experience of the series. Ultimately, it was a process that took an hour and a half and involved an actual whiteboard.

We all don't.
My friend told the entire story to me and my other friends. All but one of us stopped halfway. We either weren't interested or we were bored. The one friend that kept on listening was super unusual, that me and the friend that was telling the story were in charge of keeping good eyes on him. But that unusual friend kept listening cause his brain can somehow process what she is saying, no matter what.

Re:Coded was a clever retelling of Kingdom Hearts and KH: Chain of Memories that celebrated many aspects of the previous Kingdom Hearts games without changing the canon. I think it built upon the idea in KH2 where DiZ had technologies that can scan whatever and make data copies by making Jimminy’s first journal the setting.

It’s more important as a reminder of past games and a setup for ideas brought on in KH3D. KH3 at best name dropped Data Sora, they talked about hurt in Twilight Town, the bugs were an aesthetic in the Big Hero 6 world, and a new Data Sora was made for boss rush. So 5% important?
I don’t know. I really like the game but everyone pretty much glossed over it.

It's so much easier than evolving Terra into Xehanort. For that you have to have 18 badges, hold your DS upside down above a herd of animals while singing the circle of life between 12:26 am and 12:28 am but only if you do all of that while at the Keyblade graveyard.

Even though Sora was incomplete his body still grew while he was sleeping.
Yet Ventas has permanently stopped aging unlike Sora who also again was missing pieces of himself for some reason.

Well, when Ven was sleeping during BBS until KH3 you know his heart left his body. From the first event Ven experienced deep sleep (khux finale story) which caused him to skip time and that didn't effect aging. According to theory Ven was found by Xehanort and brought to Eraqus said 2 yrs before bbs story (pre-bbs was flashback scene), and not long after that, war happened and aftermath, Ven's heart stayed inside Sora and sleep until KH3. He definitely stopped aging twice

Theory time!:
After Sora is saved from being a heartless he wasn’t actually turned normal. As you know, heartless are the hearts of dead people and because Kairi is a Princess of light she turned Sora’s heart into full light making him normal. It wasn’t until after Roxas goes back into Sora that Sora is fully normal
So before Roxas met Sora, we were playing as a Heartless the entire time.

Actually, Roxas is a unique case as he is able to co exist with Sora. Normally Nobodies and Heartless can’t coexist with their original but Roxas was able to due to Sora being able to control himself when he was a Heartless. Until Sora was put to sleep and Roxas was forced to merge with him.

KH3 has the most confusing ending to ever exist
