  • T Express is an Intamin pre-fabricated wooden coaster with a lofty reputation. It is located in Everland, a resort south of Seoul operated by Samsung. I give my thoughts on the ride and review it, as well as give my thoughts on Everland.

Your analysis and articulation of your experience with this coaster is much appreciated. You have a great way of really getting the point across in a way that's incredibly relatable. 10/10 video. Have you riden "wooden coaster" in Asia that's my TOP bucket list foreign coaster - T-express was my number 3.

Korea's version of Nagashima Spa Land or Fuji Q Highland! But out of the parks I've actually been to, Everland reminds me most of Six Flags Great Adventure! Even with the Safari. They do have some cool indoor dark rides you should do next time. I guess you must have been short on time.

I think with T Express, you have to go in with the expectations of being El Toro and Balder, because the first half is inspired by El Toro, and the second half is literally what Balder does in its layout. I think if you know how those rides feel, then T Express going to meet those expectations. Idk that's just me. I haven't ridden an Intamin prefabricated wood coaster, but I know how good all of them are. Even the smaller one, Balder is amazing from what I've heard. And T Express is still ranked in the top 50 wood coasters from Amusement Today, so it still is one of the best for sure. It still definitely has that extreme thrill like all Intamin prefabs have, but I think because they had limited space, I can understand that second half, and those airtime hills still look like they have great ejector airtime. I never rode this when I was in Korea, in fact, I left Korea in 2003, 5 years before it opened, but I'd love to ride this one day.

This roller coaster is absolutely INSANE, and the ejector airtime tries to KILL YOU
Absolutely best wooden roller coaster in the world.

You should definitely visit Korea and Everland again! I disagree with it being a bad park. It's like 6 Flags or Universal Studios. The rides are actually fun. Like Europa Park. I appreciate Express's longer ride duration over Toro. You should also visit Lotte World, Gyeongju World, and Seoul Land. Great coasters and thrill rides! GYEONGJU World has a must ride Dive Coaster for Coaster enthusiasts!

It is a shame that Everland got no major coasters after this. This park NEEDS at least one good supporting coaster(Not a boring Arrow looper)

El Toro is trash. I have had a season pass at six flags for years. I dont ride El Toro due to the fact that coaster beats the heck out of you. Your head flings around like a rag doll and smashes your head against the side. I'm disappointed great adventure remover rolling thunder.

It also looks like the most overrated wooden coaster in the world

LMAO. Go ahead and ride a wooden coaster thats as old as el toro, and then tell me that its rough. Its most certainly not glass smooth, but compared to most other wooden coasters, its buttery. Unless a wooden coaster was brand new or retracked, its not as good as el toro.

Also, if you don't know how to ride it, it can beat you up a bit. They were actually planning on rmcing rolling thunder, but rmc said the supports were far too weak to be reused.
