After my ex wife's affair, the divorce, the broken family, the child support, the bankruptcy, i have grown quite hard and jaded. But seeing this in theater with my 8 year old and his grandma for two hours I felt the happiness and magic I used to feel every day.
I’m sorry that happened to you but don’t worry things will get better for you in the future and you’ll be able to feel that happiness and magic again not just for a day but for the rest of your life
I can relate to that and child support is basically Jew support it's bullshit I have to work overtime so I can pay bill's feed my kid when I have her and do things with her. Taking her to this movie was just pure joy for both of us

The dancing and silly antics, reminds me of all the times I would cheer up my little sister when she was sad. My favorite part and song from the whole movie
This is one of those scenes that I wish I could unsee and have the privilege of watching it again for the first time. This scene was so much fun! Can’t wait to get it on Blu Ray
It’s beautiful on so many levels. Loving humanity, brother sisterly love, friendship love and kindness. Also something the director captured intentionally or accidentally is facing a world as a Black female. Being in an unwanted position of not letting one’s guard down because of realities you never created and the heartbreak from those dumb realities. Love the film and its diversity.
I wasn't really expecting much from this movie. After all, it's just another prequel of a beloved franchise with [recently popular actor] titled [last name of character]. However, I was absolutely floored by the expertly written characters and interactions between them, the stunning visual design, and of course, the soundtrack which is nothing short of magical. Sure, you can tell it's intended for the younger audience, but it masterfully keeps the older viewers engaged just as much. I think this scene is the perfect showcase of just what this movie was made to accomplish. It has pretty wacky visuals, but it's so extremely heartfelt and it's blatantly obvious that care and effort were put into every second, every frame, every note. The people who made this movie cared not only about the story and franchise, but also for the very magic of childhood.
This is my most favourite song alongside Pure Imagination. It oozes sweetness, tenderness and that aerial dance! You just can’t help but smile and be happy in that moment.
I couldn't stop grining the first time I saw this scene! I bought Wonka on Blu Ray a few days ago and have already re-watched it twice! I still smile when I get to this scene and I walk away from the movie always feeling so good, warm, and inspired inside! Whatever the people behind these movies are doing, they need to keep doing it! Because Wonka and Paddington are exactly the kinds of warm, uplifting, sweet, wholesome, clean family movies we need and sadly see so few of these days!
Does anyone else think that Marry Poppins and Willy Wonka should have a movie together? I'd watch that film in a heartbeat. Cut from the same cloth I'd say!
This song is amazing, it reminds me when I used to be a kid. The times where I was sad but someone came by and cheered me up. Thank you Warner Bros. for creating such a beautiful masterpiece!
Don't think i've ever seen a more magical scene. I was having the worst month ever and i had finally let my friend coax me into watching this in cinemas and i was just so blown away. It really did improve my moodle ;)
Gene would have loved this movie! Timothee you did a EXCELLENT performance ❤ This is my favorite movie ❤ Every actor made this movie FABULOUS. But Timothee made me believe in magic. The movie was magical!!!!
It’s strange that this is the same character who becomes more cynical and dealing with the naughty children. Which kinda makes me want to see a sequel and slowly transform into a wonka we usually know. (even though it’s supposed to be a spiritual prequel)
Yes, as much as Timothee did a brilliant job in the role where he clearly gave it everything he had, I honestly can't imagine this Willy Wonka turning a blind eye to the four children facing their consequences in the factory. If they do make a sequel, I hope they build more on this.
I was sceptical about this movie....it's magical I loved it I'm a 37 year old man who has two kids so family movies I personally believe have missed the mark the last few years... I thought this movie was excellent and this scene was a stand out to me
For all his whacky antics and creativity we see Wonka being human. He is nutty, original, thinks outside the box, but at the end of it all, He is a human too. Just different and unique.
the first time i watchwd this movie i cried the wholeee time 😂😂i just knew i was gonna watch it millions of times im so glad they made this movie they did it so well
I love how while Noodle teaches Wonka how to read, Wonka teaches her how to enjoy life. These two's dynamic is beautiful.
I felt so Happy and cried in this scene
This scene makes me want to cry its so beautiful
I cried like a baby. Beautiful scene
So. Did. I
We all cried for a moment.
Crying just rewatching this 😭😭😭
Same here ❤

Yes they did
Don't u ever get "The Greatest Showman" vibe? I always do when I watch this movie. To me, this scene is like just like "Rewrite the Stars"

Pure movie magic.

It's so beautiful that you danced to make your sister feel better...❤ I wish I had a brother or sister like you
@@rosydaydreams_thank u, she’s my favorite person in the world. Sadly we never flew on rooftops with balloons, that would have been epic lol
Is it even possible to watch this and not smile?
No, no it is not😅
If you’re in a bad mood, yes.
I know!
A little girl whose whole life has totally sucked feels hope and joy for the first time, and I cried my eyes out.
i did not expect this movie to make me cry 😭😭
Me either, and I'm not a bit ashamed for it.

screw the barbie movie, this is the one healing my inner child 😭
The little scene where he puts the coat after dancing with it is so smooth
Reminds me of a wonderful scene in The Artist. Check it out of you've never seen it
Something about them floating away on those balloons just brings me to tears
Same
I genuinely don't think I've smiled more for a movie, let alone this scene *chef's kiss*
Noodle is so sweet, such a nice child ❤❤
This and World Of Your Own are the best songs from the movie
RIGHT?!
I literally was thinking this earlier today 😊
@@o.m9514both absolutely amazing songs, I listen to each a lot
@@foturkey2738they knocked it out of the park with the whole movie in my opinion
Same With Pure Imagination. Both For A Moment And Pure Imagination Made Me Bawl So Much Listening To Them.
The reason why I love this movie so much is that it spreads happiness and joy, and lets face it, in today's world, we need more of this.
Those of y’all who ship them need your computers checked she is a CHILD, his relationship to her is BROTHERLY. Don’t be fucking weird
yeah it’s fucking weird people ship them. how old is she, was it stated in the movie? kinda looks fifteen
and willy is like 10 year older than her he most likely an adult
@@pixiepumpkin14I think noodle is 12 and willy wonka is 22
NOODLE X WONKA 😍
@@LeoMyLove-zh3gc EW WTF
I like to think Noodle was Willy’s inspiration for his whole Chocolate Factory.
Neil Hannon the songwriter here was totally wronged in not receiving an Oscar nomination.
warner brothers showed disney how to do a family movie remake right with this. this is exactly how not to mess up a remake of a beloved film.
this isn't a remake it's a prequel
I love this movie i have no complaints❤❤
