I'm not sure why this movie went under the radar of so many. Didn't hear much about it at all but what a great film. My 6 year son cant stop singing this. Such a fun movie
This movie didn't remotely fly under the radar. The trailers just made it look atrocious. Looking through all these clips shocks me over how much of a disservice the trailers did to this genuinely decent movie. I don't know how they managed to make it look so bad.
People assumed it would be a woke deconstruction of Wonka, because that’s what Hollywood has been doing for the past 10 years. This could have been a billion dollar movie if Hollywood hadn’t alienated so much of their audience.
I love how the song isn't a separate moment in the story where the character just stops to dance and sing, no, the story happens while the song plays. Comparing to other movie like it, this is a very active-musical.

I'm so very glad I got the chance to take my 12 and 6 year old kids to see this movie in theaters. Not having any idea of what to expect. Had no idea how Timothy Chamalet is so multi-talented. Loved the movie, and now my kids cannot get enough of it. We've seen it on TV about 5 times, and we sing along to this song all the time. Thank you so very much to all the very talented people who made this movie!! ❤️ 🎉
Timothée seriously needs to be a Disney prince! 💯 He's still young enough and he can actually sing. I don't know what Disney movies haven't been remade to live action but even if it was something original with new characters, he has that charm!
Went into this expecting very little but was richly rewarded , Chalamet was charming and likeable and the songs were genuinely great . Nice little film .

i do like this movie but i hope they don't because not every musical movie has to be adapted into a musical for example the greatest showman doesn't have a stage adaption so there is no need for this movie to have a stage adaption but a wonka follow up is more decent
