    Pro tip for Swarming Shadows: the moment you get the DBM warning that you're targeted by the ability you're able to use stuff like Cloak of Shadows, Anti-Magic Shell, Ice Block, and bubble to prevent its application, completely nullifying the mechanic. As a DK for example you will practically never have to move away from the boss for that ability by constantly using your AMS.
    Pro tip for Pact of the Darkfallen: if you have 3-4 paladins in the raid you are able to cleanly rotate raid CDs to reduce the damage taken while players are linking up since it happens every 30 seconds. As long as you have 4 paladin raid CDs, this can really help you consistently beat this boss.
    Later on in the tier, and possibly with the 30% buff, you're also able to all stack up pixel perfectly on top of each other and completely negate Pact of the Darkfallen since it will instantly clear when you're all stacked up. This can be more consistently heavy on healing due to Twilight Bloodbolt splashing on the entire raid however should be survivable as long as long as everyone (except for tanks ofc) is stacked up perfectly and Pact of the Darkfallen doesn't have a chance to do damage.

      Stacking to negate pact isnt worth the risk with swarming shadows... Spreading to negate swarming shadows is worth in return for pact damage.

      @@EverWatching No offense mate but you shouldn't be talking about things you haven't experienced or clearly do not know that much about. Not even just the pro guilds are doing it on Warmane, but even the casual shit guilds and even some pugs are doing this strat.
      Swarming Shadows is not an issue unless you're playing with literal monkeys and if you are, fair enough but in that case the strat I mentioned doesn't apply to you and neither does it somehow invalidate the strat because your group isn't capable of executing it. Pact isn't a problem either but the point of stacking with good gear and the 30% buff is that it simply turns BQL into a patchwerk fight. You can literally just AFK stand still and ignore an entire mechanic this way if the group is stacked properly and only need to spread out if you personally have Swarming Shadows, or when air phase happens. Once air phase ends you literally just tank the boss where she lands and stack pixel perfect as a group again.
      The strat works perfectly fine and the only way you'll actually wipe is if your group isn't stacked properly, causing Pact of the Darkfallen to tick even a single time. This risks the squishy clothies such as Mages dying to a Bloodbolt splash + Pact tick. But again, if you're stacked properly this fight becomes a patchwerk fight.
      But seriously mate, what kind of groups are you playing with that's caused you to think that Swarming Shadows is somehow a dangerous mechanic on BQL? That sounds like a seriously demonic group, no offense once more.

      @@QPoily why do you assume ive never expirienced it? I have and ive done it many time with both tactics.
      Its just more reasonable to try to negate the harder hitting mechanic...

      @@EverWatching Then don't do the strat, it's that simple - meanwhile the good groups will do the strat successfully and without worry because they know how to move out of the group with Swarming Shadows, a type of mechanic that players have to learn and do successfully on Rotface, Sindy, and LK anyways.
      If your group is struggling to move out of the group when they have a debuff on them, arguing about a strat like this is the least of your concerns. But that doesn't change the fact it's a valid strat that simplifies the fight for 99% of the group by reducing the amount of movement required. Arguing about it with me here doesn't change that.
      Same for how higher end groups are currently putting the melee at max melee range on Marrowgar to help bait Coldflames away from the ranged players, enabling ranged to move way less and therefore increasing overall raid DPS. That's what this strat is about; increasing overall raid DPS. If your group isn't up for that kind of gameplay then that's on them, not on the strat itself so why are you arguing with me about it?

    In all the vods you showed bloodbolt never hit melee so why should they spread into 2 camps?

    how do you cast the vamp bite to another player? just target them or ?

    • @shindigg672
      @shindigg672  Рік тому +2

      It might depend on your UI, but for 10 seconds while you have the frenzied bloodthirst debuff you'll get an extra action bar with the ability "bite" on it. You target them and move within melee range to use the ability
