You've put in so much effort mate. So many angles to your locations, multiple takes, great soundtrack, and stunning scenery. Well done and thanks for sharing 👍
I was driving to work this morning at 5am in Sydney and Channel 40 was going off on the main motorway west. Great banter. The channel can be very helpful, very funny or just downright abusive. Still great to have though as you can find out about Police radars or why the traffic is slowing. It seems it is channel 40 most places (in NSW at least) but Channel 28 or 29 (I can't remember) on the the main motorway north towards Brisbane.
Channel 40 sounds like a great idea. I’ll help lead the charge rolling around the north island! Enjoyed the vid awesome scenery cant wait to check out the central plateau for myself.
Awesome mate ,I can't wait for my first 4WD tour .Basically all ready to go .Will join a club for advice and travel with a group .Im not experienced enough to go alone .
Great to hear mate, Best thing you can do. Start small and find out what type of 4wding, Touring, Overlanding. You are into. Then start building your car from there. First things you should get is some recovery gear. Shovel, snatch strap and shackle. An air compressor is also great early purchase. Other than that enjoy.
Exactly what I needed during lockdown. Nothing beats a cold beer and a hot meal on a freezing cold night with amazing views. Cool set up you have too. The wee fold out table on the rear door looks just handy enough.
Thanks mate. glad you enjoyed it. To right, worse thing was that I forgot my camp chair :). The table makes camp life so easy, couldn't live without it anymore.
My first time watching your site, very nice to watch as mostly only watch foreign sites, I was caught in a blizzard on the turkino road back in 1986 in my land Rover thankfully able to dig myself out in time as had a full young family on board, especially like this series because I live in Taupo since 1978 and traveled around the district in the land Rover and my fleet truck, your gas cooker is the same as I am using for 20 year's, I definitely will be watching you from now on, 👍👍👍👍.
Awsome thanks Warren, always cool to hear about other peoples adventures. Tukino is so different every time we've been up. Lol that old camp cooking always lives in the truck, its normally the backup one, but being SOLO didn't really require the full setup. Thanks for watching
Meant to say channel 40 over here in Aus is great though it can get a little rough with some of the language at times. Different states and national parks have their own channel numbers.A second uhf comes in handy so you can stay on channel and scan with the second.
Haha yes I agree, Wouldn't mind stuffing the 76 into a container and sending it to Aus. Crossing the Simpson, Canning stock and Cape York come to mind. The stuff we don't have over here.

However it does not run NZ Top 50 which is a bit of a shame as for NZ the are the best. It runs Garmin's Version of NZ Topo Maps which are good but don't have quite as much detail.
