Even though she shows us exactly how she does it -- my mind cannot comprehend how that painting is made so realistically beautiful & captures the essence of a person just from someone's talent and hands alone.

Possibly but I think it will be harder to achieve such a “soft” look, and the technique will have to be different because acrylics dry very fast compared to oils :)
