I'm from C'Ville, and it was called Lee Park (as in, the statue of Robert E. Lee that the protest was all about). We RENAMED it Emancipation Park.

After years of vicous bullying and social isolation, my brother fell for the neonazi ideology through youtube. I have done immens research myself on this topic of (de)radicalization and it has so many intricacies. Its so cathartic to listen to my favorite psychology podcast talking about this, but also very triggering. Thank you for tackling this topic.

@@MomoIsMyHero damn im sorry... Would love to compare your perspective and learn some. i think the worst part is feeling empathy for the pain of my brother while being in complete disgust/rage over his clownshow of an ideology.

Bizarrely there are several red states with new laws on the books including that it is legal to drive into protesters.

I live in Oklahoma and around the time that BLM were protesting Floyds death, Oklahoma passed a law to allow drivers to drive into groups with no consequences.

Hello Dr. Kirk Honda! I hope you had a good start to the new year and that you're enjoying more spare time ☺ it's only fair for you to give yourself more free time and if you wanted to take several months long vacation, I would be happy for you! You deserve to take care of yourself, too 💙

Have you looked into the Darrel Brooks case? He drove through a Christmas parade. Could you do a compare and contrast between the 2 different cases?

This isn't the lightest topic but I always listen to your podcast to help with my panic attacks. You have such a soothing voice and you're so kindhearted it always calms me down. You've helped my mental health more than you can know, I'm forever grateful for you. ❤❤

OK-totally random speculation from the peanut gallery. I was perusing the merch site, and had a couple thoughts. 1. What about a special edition "Stanley-esque" cup? 😁2. Have you considered selling the mugs in a 4-set? I can't decide between them!

Fuentes is the guy that freaks me out the most, he's charismatic and good at debate tactics. Even though he was deplatformed from mainstream entertainment, there is a problem where he befriends mainstream entertainers and gets ahold of their audience.
Around the time of the Kanye thing, it got a bit scary because a popular men's dating podcast "Fresh and Fit" would do their regular show on youtube for the first half and then direct their audience to Rumble for the second half and have Nick on. I saw in the chat all these (assuming) young men typing "W Nick" "L Jews", etc. Hopefully most were joking, but I'm sure some were radicalized that way T_T

Why does the video have only so few views and comments?
Haven't been on the channel for some time, I'm surprised to see this. 😮

Not a surprise the groups are at odds with eachother, its a business and the other groups are competitors.

I have to push back on your assertion that you are limiting people's freedom of speech when you don't read their emails on the podcast. Speech is only protected from government regulations. Contrary to what the right would have us believe, freedom of speech is doing just fine.

Ah, which Berto said as soon as I resumed the video, lol. I hit pause too soon. This "free speech is under attack" is just a huge pet peeve of mine because it's simply not true.

The James Fields incident doesn't make much sense. It appears from the footage he was spooked into acceleration by the crowd and not premeditated murder. Also conflicting reports of Dwayne Dixon pointing a rifle at him.
Other vehicle crimes like Darrell Brooks you can clearly see intent to murder driving through the parade. In Fields case he ran into several cars and people implying he was acting on impulse trying to get away from the crowd.
