Small Space Gardening: monitor, plant, feed and water | Zone 7b
In this video, I’m hanging out in my garden tending to the needs of my plants.
I’m feeding my plants homemade compost tea and harvesting my first purple Desiree snap pea.
Tomato plants are flowering. Bush bean plants are flowering. Sunflowers are coming along nicely.
I’m learning from mistakes made last year.
I grow in-ground, raised garden beds and garden grow bags.
I am a small space gardener who grows lots of food to feed my family in a corner space of my suburban backyard.

Hey, Nikki! 👋🏼 I know that compost tea has your garden lit! No pain, no gain 🤣 I just sowed some seeds last Friday using the Dollar Tree soil bricks. My first time ever using seed starter. I mixed in some organic potting soil. So far, so good. Lots of sprouts already. 💚

I pulled out those seedlings and there were hard soil balls attached, and stuck on the roots. No wonder the plants were stunted.
