A lovely review as always. Among the very few that offer some more footage captured with it. Looks like I've missed the moment when you passed 100K - so congrats on that!! Well deserved - you make some of the best camera reviews on UA-cam.
Great video, thank you. May I ask if still images taken with 1" module can have distortion corrected in the App? Also, can stills / video be taken cropped / zoomed so they are not too wide? I am choosing between 4k boosted and 1" modules, and would prefer 1" due to better image quality.
@@TheHybridShooter thank u . but do you know if during live streamming i can zooming on screen . on gopro11 can"t during live streamming . that why i look for new camera and for stabilization in low light too
Concise and on-point as usual! One question though, is it possible to use the auto HDR with the 1in mod, or is it a sensor based feature that's only available on the new 4k mod?
Another great review. I’m always glad to see your vids pop up in ,y feed. Thanks. Though - I’d like to know if I can purchase JUST a new core, instead of a whole new package.
Hello, do you have any information on the minimum focus distance for the 4k boost mod and 360 mod? I learned on your other video that the minimum focus distance for the 1 inch mod is 1m (accepteable at 50cm) which is a little too long for vlogging on the go. But I'd concider this if the 4k boost has a shorter minimum focus distance. Thank you.
It's interesting that the 1 inch sensor version of the Insta360 seems smaller than many other 1 inch cameras. What exactly is the reason? The video quality of the Insta360, DJI cameras, and GoPro cameras is quite good, and they generally are known for many features, at least some of which are innovative. Despite that, the cameras could still be much better; they'd likely be much more expensive, but it might be interesting to see how popular and whether such cameras would be better for the market. I don't know how it would most likely work in practice to improve such a camera with a much bigger sensor, and the ability to make advanced lenses such as those in SLRs and High end Interchangeable cameras. In theory though, it seems like a possible gamble which might make for extremely great reward. There are other possible things that can be made better in such cameras like Insta360, that are available in cameras such as Fujifilm X series, Sony full frame cameras, and other Interchangeable cameras beyond one thousand dollars.
There is no other 1" action camera, point and shoot cameras use completely different construction, so there isn't anything relevant to compare it to. Bigger sensor means more higher requirements for processing power, cooling and higher consumption and so on, so that won't happen in an action camera.
Very informative video. Thank you. One question is, if I get the one RS with the 1" lens, will I be able to utilize the tracking function in the insta app for editing? I do a lot of video on dance classes and it is very convenient to track the moving object using that function. I can use it when using the 360 lens but I find handling 360 video a bit tricky. So I am looking into getting a non-360 version.
The way that you shoot the same scenes with each camera you review is a great feature of your channel. The picture quality from this One RS is very impressive. One question - does it offer horizon levelling straight from the camera or does that have to be added in the phone or PC app? Thanks for a great un-hyped review!
@@TheHybridShooter Personally I think it is indispensible for an action camera, unless you want that "this is an action camera" look. I use my Action 2 with horizon levelling on all the time, which enables so much in the way of creative shooting. But I guess it's a matter of taste and it also depends on the nature of the shot. Also, I seem to be incapable of holding any camera level...
Standard stabilization is more than sufficient for my needs and I don't like the decrease of the image quality caused by the crop in the horizon leveling mode, so I never use it, but it may be useful for other users of course.

That depends on your requirements and expectations. 1" mod is better than smartphones in low light, but if that your priority, a mirrorless camera with ultra-wide lens might be more suitable.
