- Every fall millions of mullet in schools larger than a football field travel south along the Atlantic coast of Florida. Tourists on Florida beaches watch in absolute amazement as thousands of predators ambush the schools of mullet in sometimes less than a foot of water. Predatory fish that feed on the mullet schools include: sharks, tarpon, jack crevalles, bluefish, snook, redfish, ladyfish and many more. The migration is often referred to as the "Mullet Run".

Very awesome footage. I used to get lunch at Flagler Pier in Flagler Beach, you can look down and see the large predators doing exactly what you have on this vid. Excellent video.

I was surfing at Manhattan Beach - lot of bait fish all around. Then about 8 foot away a black fin about a foot high pops up stationary, the front of it in my direction meaning the head was somewhere between the fin & me, I supposed a few feet away. Scary.

I have a medium heavy spinning rod for bass fishing with 12 pound line on it do you think that is good for salt water fishing
+Ty Wetzel I would recommend using heavier line, like 30lb Bullbuster braid.

Those guys with the rod and wheel while surrounded by jumping waves of fish....that's sporting. You can't even brag unless you caught a boat load and even then some jumped in.
