not recommended for sure but as long as the bottle has some pressure there should be no oxygen inside so it can't burn inside= no explosion, it gets worse as the internal pressure drops though

I’m not sure, I had it pumped out and the bricks had slid sideways and looked like it would collapse, so I filled it in to the good layer so I never actually went to the bottom as it was 33 ft down, maybe I could dig down now and find out 😂

Is that just the start of the hole dave? just from the camera view it doesn't look anywhere near deep enough for a bunker foundation, id have thought that because you are putting an extension on top you will need minimum 1200mm footings before bunker floor level like any extension really.
Doesn't matter if it's an American engine, British engine, Russian engine, German engine, or Chinese engine, they all have freeze plugs in the dumbest places!
