must have been freezing at night! I am planning a 14 day tour in April, I am hoping it wont be too cold, but I wont be camping, maybe next time. Lovely video thanks for sharing your trip with us!
Thank you so much for your very very nice videos I love it and enjoyed watching them and I’m crazy for that nature thank you so much and GOD bless you where ever you are a huge thanks from Glendale California
The good thing that no snow. It would be very difficult if it would start snowing. I don't have to worry about that here in Florida. Thanks for sharing your adventure 👍
Definitely make more videos! Thank you for taking us on this winter tour with you. I have to add that I have NEVER seen a cheese vending machine. That was great to see!
Hi Audrey, I just found your channel surfing around for like-minded people and I enjoyed your video. It's very beautiful there and I look forward to seeing more. Atb, Tony
Greetings from Romania ! Great video , thank you for sharing with us your trip , happy cycling and all the best ! I'm looking forward to the nest one :D !
Epic trail Audrey! I love those canal bikeroads, so amazing, Netherlands is very blessed with the flat area, so it seems like a good choice for long rides :)
The Netherlands is almost completely flat, but it's alsof always windy. Especially in winter and autumn it can be storm. That can makes cycling difficult....or easy
Another great video Audrey. Good to see you braving the cold weather. Over here on the west coast of Australia we have had a heatwave with many days over 40C. Too hot to cycle. Hope you are well. I have a friend in Amsterdam who got very sick with Covid but now out of hospital. Stay safe.
Hi Audrey. I like bicycle trips in the Netherlands too. If you show some interesting view, windmill, river, ... please could you tell where it is? That would give me new ideas on where to go.
Hi Inge, thanks for the advice. I will give a comment or put the place name at points of interest more often. On the map and the route description you can trace in which area I cycled.
hi nice video! I wish we had even 1/2 the cycling infrastructure here in new Jersey, USA that your nation has. What was your average speed/pace during your trip? Thanks, DavidC.
Hi thanks for making a video I love the netherlands, had a great trip in 2019 how much are your camping costs on average I takit you still have to pay or are they the Dutch free sites, how do you like your surly, I love my lht .
Hi, the campingcost in the Ntherlands for 1 person, tent and bike are 6-15 euro per night. I camp at basic campgrounds. The free sites are closed since the covid situation. I like my Surly verry much so far. It's good for cycling off road but also on the road it's fast eand comfi
Hi Audrey… Greeting from Jakarta 😀 i’m planning to do bike touring in the netherland in the near future… how do you plan your trip especially related to the camping locations? do you pick the location before you start the trip? or may be you just stop at any campsite once the evening come?? how do you get campsite information?? warm regards, Ling
In wintertime most of the campsites are closed till half april. During that period i have to adapt my route to the available campsites. In summer there are many campsites. There are also farmers who have a small campingarea. So you don't have to worry about finding a place. In summer it can be verry bussy on the campsites but mostly there is a place for a small tent. You can find campingsites with google maps or GPS. I use my GPS.
great video and keep on posting, Audrey !!
👍👍👍❤️👍👍👍

There are many car-free cyclepath in the Netherlands. That's a good thing. My average speed is 22-23 km/h i guess.

How often do you have days in winter without wind?
That's hard to say. No winter is the same. Sometimes we have nice cold winters with just a litle bit of wind and some winters are verry windy and wet
