    Hello Audrey, thank you so much for the relaxing video. Amazing, I was at the same blooming spring time cycling in Albania and also overwhelmed by the beautifulness of that country and the hospitelity. It looks like we have the same style of travelling. Very appreciated how you also have spots of the small interesting things along the way. This region enchanted me so much that I decided to make a similar ride this year, but this time more the eastern part of balkans like Serbia, Kosovo, North-Macedonia heading for Istanbul. Perhaps we will meet us somewhere in that region .-)

    Did you imagine, that someone could watch your movie in the winter (like now, Jan '24 in Poland) to enjoy with you the spring in Albania? It made up my mood! Thanks and cheers!

    Thank you for sharing! I'll be cycling through Albania next May and this was a nice visual introduction. Some verbal narration would really add a lot to this nicely shot video. Best wishes to you.

      Thanks. It's easy to make the same route by watching the map in the begin of the video. There are not many roads in Albania

      @audreytracks  2 роки тому +1

      It's the Vaude Lizard 1-2 person tent. When you go to Albania, go in spring. That's the most beautyfull time of the year and it's before high season

    Did you see any other cycle tourers? Do enough people speak English ? Excellent video and what a great adventure!!Thanks

    • @audreytracks
      @audreytracks  2 роки тому +1

      I was there in the end of april begin of may. I didn't met many cyclist like me. Only 6 i think. But i didn't met many tourist at all that periode. Young people do speak english mostly but elderly don't. Sometimes it was really challenging to communicate.

  • @MrJx4000

    Just found your channel with this Albania video tour, and thank you for sharing. That country looks so impoverished. I'm guessing not many people speak English outside of the main cities. What time of year did you go and what were the daytime temperatures like?

    • @audreytracks
      @audreytracks  2 роки тому +1

      Until 1992 dictatorship reigned in this country. Over the past 40 years this has slowly changed. They are teaching English at school so most of the younger people do speak englisch. Tourism is increasing. I was there at the end of april begin of may and the temp was 18-25 degrees celsius.

    Thanks for sharing. Nice video. Shame about the plastic rubbish. Obviously you agreed. Such a sad shame to ruin a beautiful country like that

    Thanks for warning me to never visit this ugly country.
    Still I appreciate the hard work you have done for us.
    I could see nothing interesting that can not be found in more civilised countries like France and Germany. Or it must be the sheep and the donkeys.
    By the way, in France, Germany and Britain there are really beautiful landscapes, although I would not recommend Britain for cycling. (walking is ok)

    Had to eliminate the volume. ..lol

    • @audreytracks
      @audreytracks  2 роки тому

      I understand that. The albaninian music is verry ignoring. I put the volume as low as possible but it's still to loud.
