What breaks my heart more than seeing these children suffer and risk their lives for a better life is a desire to help in some way but not knowing how to. You guys should kindly find a way for viewers to reach out to these families
many ways to help, e.g. . Task Tarea (Guatemala--Is on Facebook--Started by a retired lady just like any of us--), Backpacker's Hotel & connected Orphanage in Rio Dulce (orphans & orphanage connected--needs help & visitors-located in beautiful area in Guatemala--near the Orphanage--Need international volunteer nurses, doctors, teachers, people to help with farming & needs donations for projects---Supports indigenous orphaned children. Located in Rio Dulce, Guatemala. Beautiful area--Land for that orphanage donated by Indigenous peoples. Labor also donated by the Indigenous people. Orphaned children fro Guatemala & Dominican Republic. Hundreds of them. Need many things, mostly need PARENTS to adopt them.
I feel more sorry for her two very young children who have to walk 2 hours in the jungle just to get their education…. The same with the boys how can the farther let his little boy cross that high road hanging by him … it’s very sad …. I feel scared for these little children… may God Keep them always safe …
Watch all the other documentaries on the same topic. It made me cry watching them. I wish there was a way helping these kids get new shoes. We have so much to be thankful for in this life.
Hats off to the teachers who leave their homes in the city, take a life threatening journey just to teach these beautiful children who face so many struggles to get to school. I salute their courage and selflessness!!!
Everyday as a teacher when something doesn’t go my way, I get to head back to my place and be with my pets and my girl with all the modern amenities and can unwind with a beer. This woman is great. Very humbling. Thanks to who uploaded this.
I live in Argentina, and we have a lot of Bolivian immigrants living here. They are the nicest, kindest, most hardworking people I've ever met. They are the ones who do the jobs no one else wants (agricultural jobs, mostly), bust ass, work all day under a blazing hot son and are super grateful for it. When the meek inherit the Earth, Bolivians will be royality.
This makes me cry about how lucky we are and how we take advantage of our luxuries. I walk only ten minutes to drop my son at school and we still feel lazy to get up. Thumbs up to such hard-working, strong children.
While im sure the thought of "This is a long way to go just for school" has probably passed their minds before. I would gamble most dont actually think much of it. If you've never known anything other then that lifestyle, alot of them probably feel lucky to be able to adventure everyday on the way to school. It reminds me of a time i went to a friends house in the rural countryside. We walked an hour and half if not more both ways, just to see visit some girl for an hour or so. I remember even complaining on the way back about how its so far, and commenting "how can you do this all the time" and he just shrugged and said, "I dunno, you get used to it" People adapt pretty easily.
Me too, my heart melted while watching this, i cried so much. I hope and i know one day these childrens will be successful in life and achieve their dreams ❤️
Found this documentary very interesting. I was adopted from lapaz bolivia at 2 1/2 been living in america ever since then. As I was watching this I couldn't help but think what my life would of been like had I never been adopted. God has blessed me
JOSHUA AIKEN Now you have in your hands all the possibilities to help other in need ... from Bolivia equipped with knowledge that you accumulated wherever you lived....
I feel a bit ashamed about myself, with having all the facilities to go to the school and educate myself, I think I could have done better. But I wish for the best success of these kids, finally, their effort will reward them in the future. Good luck!
Don't feel ashamed, help. Adopt a child. If you adopt a child, give her/him education and a happy life the, you have earned saved the world. One at the time. Adopt an orphaned child. Give him / her a happy wonderful life.
I'm also thinking how can I possibly help these children, could have been better if they provided such information that will help other people send help fot these children.
I know of a genuine organisation who help these children. I visited them 5 years ago. A not for profit organisation that has done tons to help children in these circumstances. The organisation I refer to is called Amistad Sagrada, and is based in the Andes mountains in Peru. The guy that runs the organisation is called Sanan. He lives in poverty conditions himself. I know. I have seen it. He has a presence on the internet. Check him out. Say I sent you because he is extremely protective of the children. AMISTAD SAGRADA, PISAC, PERU i know he will be delighted to hear from you.
@Lewis C. That is true, they are neighbors, but the Quechua people are from a time before these national lines were drawn, the plight of the Quechua people is more or less the same in both countries. Neighbor communities can literally be a few miles apart but in different countries.
Tha names of the film makers are usually displayed at the end and begining of this documentaries with the presence of social media we can all work hard to try find them.
I feel so gross about myself right now, complaining about walking FIVE minutes to school in the rain or snow but these kids are risking their lives just in hopes to make it somewhat better..
Seeing some of them with broken shoes and having to go through through paths with deadly animals makes me not complain. They risk they lives for a better future..
As a Journalist, I'm thinking about all the videography, the interviews, the script, narration... the entire production and most importantly the reason ...you guys are doing a tremendous job on your documentaries. This story has really touched my heart.

I’m from Bolivia , this is true some kids here live this style of life , it’s not a big amount , but still being heartbreaking . Some of these kids when they reach 18 , they go to the city , try to find a job and give a better life to their parents, one thing that I need to clarify it’s sadly but true, “coca” it’s certainly use for medicine and rituals , but is also send to the government and they sell it to others countries, one proof of that , is in another department of Bolivia called Santa Cruz ( Santa Cruz is the biggest department ) most of the crops are send here and there’s an airport that is not allowed to enter , there’s said that “its military “ but there are a lot of proofs that they send the “coca “ as drugs. Back to the main subject of this documentary, thanks a lot for making it , this makes me so emotional, I have not had this style of life (at all )living in Bolivia , but this makes feel thankful of having everything in my life 😊. Pd: sorry , if my English is not good , I haven’t practice in a while 😅
Your English is great! Much better than my Spanish. We lived in the Santa Rosa area near Montero. We loved it. My husband was in the Yunga's at the beginning of this year. There are some beautiful spots but many families are very poor just because it's so far out.
Was panicking watching the movie don t want to murmur anymore it remind me of my school days only about 15 mins walk did nt want to do it when the sun was hot i ask the Lord sorry in watching movie they are very courages lets pray for them so that the situation will change👍🕯❤🌹🍁🌻
These are their shoes and we have the former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos' who was having a 3,000-pair world costliest shoe collection!! And in a number of media interviews, she was still complaining about the bad treatments that she received in her life! She is 92 years now.

That "zipline" gave me major anxiety. I can't imagine having to use that to get to school every day. Hats off to these kids who trudge through treacherous conditions just to get an education. I hope they get the future they want and deserve.

The determination of these young students in the Yungas Valley is truly inspiring. They face incredible challenges on their journey to school, and yet their thirst for education shines through. Thanks for highlighting their resilience and the importance of education in their quest for a brighter future.

The girls have all my respect, they smile their entire journey of hardship with torn shoes. Wish every human would aspire from them! Thanks for this documentary
I live in Bolivia & me & some volunteers tried to buy shoes, asked for signatures for the government to help build safer routs for kids to go to school but the government doesn’t listen... there are many more kids in many more small towns in the jungle that have the same or more dangerous routes, it’s simply not posible to build routes for every child... it’s really sad, as a Bolivian I feel powerless to help my own people

@@cameronkrishnaney1329 how would they drive a car in the middle of the mountain? There are no roads so that's pointless. I'm sure if he could he wouldn't send his son down that zipline but that's the only way he knows and that they can go. Life's not easy for everyone.
I am from north borneo of Malaysia. I went through exactly same journey like Helen and Mariella do. Even worse, our home was made of bamboo, no running water, no electricity, barely got even salt for cooking. I and my siblings had no no school bag.. Even getting a plastic bag was hard because my parents had no money to go to city/town to buy stuffs that could make them able to provide us plastic bag for books. So sometimes we had to make sure we use plastic bag as much as we could... For our book. We had no shoes, no slipper. We walked bare foots, passing through thick forest, crossing a big river which has no even a bridge. When rain, all books get wet, we only depended on any wide leaves I could find to use as umbrella like banana leaves or stay under shade of big tree. Many times we arrived at school with wet uniform. Lunch time was not given all years. We ate anything we could find in jungle. We left home at 5:30 am walking all the way down, arrived home at 5-6pm from Monday to Friday. Coming back home was way harder as it was uphill. Got bitten by leeches, mosquitoes. Now I myself is a teacher at an international school. Because of hard life, I know exactly how hard their life is... Most of time hard life and experience makes people more humble and kind.
@@bardo0007 Indeed. Then during high school most of time I only had less than 1 dollar for whole month living at hostel which was hundreds miles away from home for five consecutive years. I survived the hard life. Now I am living in the city. More than 20 years has passed, I still missing life at village. But since I now working in city, flying back to my hometown is not easy.
@@nfvy8111 Many young children wouldn't be able to stay such an extended period of time away from their parents. Once they turn 5, many start to help out with household chores, gardening, laundry, cooking, and cleaning. It's basic at first, but sadly their help is needed due to the strained and poor income of their families. They learn young, and it makes the parents lives a bit easier, but the children don't get an education as a result. It's sad, but young children working at home are remnants of when school was not compulsory, and many families lived on isolated farms with no education readily available to them. Boliva is working on laws to better the education of young children and try to keep them in school. There are charities online if you search for South American school and wellness charities. If you want to help further, I suggest getting a degree in teaching and move to these countries where the government will find your stay to teach them.
I agree I'm in tears watching and listening their stories 😔Please Lord help these children give them strength keep them health and strong threw they're journey let their be a miracle Amen 🙏🙏
I Watched the video with a lot of nostalgia. I walked bare foot 22 k.m. (up~dn) to my school for 3 years. These kids struggled 5 times more than I did. I had tears in my eyes as I watched the video. Desire to learn and spirit of perseverance moved them daily. God bless them.
As a Bolivian citizen, this documentary left me speechless to describe the harsh reality that many of my compatriots of all time face every day. A beautiful and emotional report. Documentaries like this make you reflect on the real importance in life.
@Kinsley Board he said the documentary left him speechless...it suggests that this reality is not his...I have poverty where I am and I am doing whatever I can
My job had contractors to help our team (here in the US) They worked with us for 7 years! They were such hard works and we really enjoyed working with them. I hope all of them are in great health and happy!!
Not everyone lives like this in Bolivia. My husband is from this country and he grew up In the city. This could be equated to country folks living in the Appalachian region of the US.
I'm hooked. I can't stop watching documentaries on most dangerous ways to school. I told my daughter to watch this kind of documentaries so she will value her education more and appreciate simple things.
@@almavelarcedera344 exactly the same thing I do, I also share these videos with my kids. But sadly they never watch these. They don't get enough time, as they have to spend time on Snapchat or ticktock or other useless stuffs.
I want to thank you, for making "Dangerous way to school ", documentaries of different countries. I am proud of those teachers also specially female teacher who retired at 60, still teaching at the age of 63. Just for putting the light of bright education and knowledge into these children life. I requested to my school , that we will show these documentaries to our school students. They will understand how blessed they are . God bless your team and channel for your priceless work.
Amen. I have been watching this childreln documentaries Im praying so hard for those children. Im ashamed of complaining. May the hand of God and His mighty angels place a hedge of protection over this tender and innocent children. 😢😢😢
The documentary was uploaded 2 years ago in 2019, just praying and hoping that at this time 2021, kind hearted individuals or organizations from Bolivia or overseas have extended help by giving a home for the 2 girls' family near school & livelihood for their mother. Likewise for the 2 boys. May God protect & bless them always.
The best help those people need would be that people that know better to pressure their government to take a better care for the country, that situation is cause by bad government and corruption
This series amazes me. In every episode, these children are not only trekking through peril, but doing so without maps, compasses, gps, street signs or any other tool indicating whether they're traveling in the correct direction or not...rather, they've got instinct, attention and intellect...incredible.
I am always complaining about the struggles of growing up in Africa, lacking this or that or the other. I envy people I see on television living lavish lives like Kylie Jenner et al. Today, after watching this video, Grateful is my middle name and Helpful is my motto. I will do my bit where I can.
You should be bless you living in Africa one of the most beautiful continent on planet earth and don't ever try to be like those on television or you see in magazine.
or maybe a 10-20 minute bike ride or walk, a car ride by a parent, it doesn’t matter how you get to school but in the usa i don’t think anyone here had a route this difficult honestly it’s sad very sad when i hear kids at school complain about their route to school it’s very very sad :(
what a contrast between the fathers: the father of the two girls a total creep by leaving the family, the father of the two boys a real hero by bringing them to school every day
@@eliseuhackbarth7003 so..... if your wife makes you angry or do something wrong, your kids pay the consequences?? Kids shouldn't pay for their parents mistakes, there's no excuse for that!

Forgive me lord for complaining about so many things 😢.To be honest i would even take my car to a grocery store that would only take a 5 minutes walk. This kids really taught me a great lesson. My heart goes out to this children 😍.
Look at this from different point... It's breathtaking place... They eat organic food. Look at those happy chickens and compare it with what we eat... They live real life... Move a lot in fresh air not affected by radiation... They will probably live longer and healthier life than us... Not dying from cancer or heart diseases...
Art Design Hobby actually kind of true, I have family that live in bolivia and they live to 100+, but granted they are doctors and architects, so they are more fortunate than most there
Absolutely heartbreaking to see these children undertaking a perilous journey to school. They are so brave and resourceful. May god watch over them and may they prosper.x❤
46:56 I wish Elmer will be an Engineer One day. All of his struggle and sacrifices will be paid off by a great future❤️. I also used to go to school in such a way as we live in a jungle, in rainy season it became even harder to go to school. but not so tough & far as the boys & girls doing here in this video. This episode reminds me of those days of hard working and fighting all the way, I am going to be an Engineer within a few months from a prestigious University. So much love for dear Elmer and others who are fighting for education all around the world. This is such a clear messages to the children & people all over the world who are privileged and having all the advantages of life, but still complaining.
These kids have such a hard life. Hopefully they succeed with their life. The teachers are also risking their life to teach these kids. Salute to them.
Lay I think it’s more because celebrities have that extra cash that, “I want it I got it” type of mentality to them. Many middle class people still need to be vary with their money spending as do others, except celebrities who have a pretty good amount $$ having more then 1 car, houses with serval rooms, etc.
britneyxoxo I think what he’s trying to say is the people who live there in Bolivia are kind and how they live there aren’t as many dangers to face in the way of ppl like many other countries do.
I will never let my daughters roam in that wild jungle by themselves even I and my kids were born there because I can't forgive myself as an unresponsible mother if something happen to them.

Millions of people watched these series and millions of them willing to help those children but don't know how. Why don't these filmmakers form an international organization and incorporate the power of millions of people here? I will be happily contributing my part if such an organization will form up.
Imagine having gym after walking down a mountain, through water, up a hill, and 2 miles down a dusty and dangerous road. I think instead of gym they deserve a nap.
"suddenly a storm draws near" Me: seriously?? Right now Mother nature?? You chose TODAY to have a temper tantrum!! I'm really worried about them because of the amazon rainforest fires
The Amazonia rainforest fires are basically concentrated in Brazil. I'm from Brazil and I can't tell how much this situation breaks my heart. Things were bad already, but it's getting worse thanks to the new president (Bolsonaro). All the shame on him!!!
@@cryingtrouble Actually there is A LOT of fire in Bolivia and no one is talking about it because everyone is focused on Brazil (which isnt bad) but Bolivia has been burning too.....
I keep saying Lord protect them, my heart aches . Some persons are really having hard while have so much and not helping enough. Knowing when death comes knocking they take nothing along
Same here. I have 2 little girls and I could never in a million years picture them walking/enduring something like this. Bless those 2 little beautiful girls.
I wish I could send the two girls some toys and clothes, their dedication to education amazes me. I have also never heard a child in the US that young say that they want to be an engineer. It goes to show when you don't have something it drives you to want it. We have so many resources here in the US and people don't understand that it is a privilege.
I’ve seen many children in the US say they want to be an engineer. Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Stop comparing places. You sound dumb.
What beautiful courageous and honourable ppl. Omg the children walking for hours and taking risks through snake infested terrain. Absolute heroes each and everyone of them!!! ❤
When I was 6, I used to walk around 5 miles on weekdays. It was hard, but when I see this documentary, my hardness wasn't that hard. I never had to take zipline though. These kids are going through life and death travel every day. Truly heartbreaking.
My parents used to walk 8 miles every day and they influenced me to do it to i did it for years when i was 12 it got less frequent now i dont go walking anymore lol
I can't believe this is real and I live literally 3 hours far away this region. This is insane and the worst part is that nobody shows this anywhere. I feel so ashamed that the government or anyone does something to improve these children's life
Im from La Paz in Bolivia, i had the luck to be adopted to Sweden, and here i been grown up on an island with only ethnic Swedes, no one was poor here or was a immigrant of another country, they live in rent apartmant house elsewhere, its kind of my first time i see people that looks like me, i have heard storys that people are poor in Bolivia and this film makes me more happy with what i have here. As adopted from La Paz to Sweden i have been more and more interesting in our neighborcountry Finland and i trying to learn Finnish and my biggest dream in this life is to move to Finland and become a Finnish citizens, I love Finland sooo mutch like can bee seen on my YT picture where i put the Finnish flag in one of my Gucci bags
My fathers Bolivian and he always told me about how he had to walk through through the jungle to get to school in Los Yungas when he was younger, i think its important to pay attention to the stories now that im older, its just such a different life they lived than the one they blessed me with in the U.S.
Those two girls are so brave walking all that distance on their own. Its good to know that they get fed good food in school. Bolivian government is doing great job running schools in rural areas.
Kitty, It's true, before children had nothing, nothing...! And now the Bolivian government gives a balanced diet at school to all children, plus a modest monetary sum each year to buy their basic needs.
You call a bag of cookies fruit and juice a good Balance meal… wow …. That’s more like a snack … children need at least a sandwich 🥪🍪🧃🍌🥛*** a long day … not to mention dinner 🥩🍔🌮🍛🥛🧋🍟🍗🍐🍉🥗
Just rewatched this. I still can't believe those two little girls have to walk for 3 hours, through the jungle, just to get home from school and that is up hill too. Ugh I don't know them but I love them already.
As someone who has immigrant parents that came from poverty in Ecuador, this hit close to home. Even moving to the US to give me and my siblings better lives there is so much they can do in a country where they are judged and limited for simply wanting to achieve a better life for themselves and children.
SingingTree - Hey! How’d it go over with your pupils? During this quarantine I’m going to begin showing these to my nieces as part of their homeschooling routine. I used to teach, this is something I would have shown my kids too. America is dysfunctional, hell is breaking loose, but yet we are STILL so privileged and blessed. Be blessed ✝️💜
2.5 hrs to school and then more on the way back cuz of the hills. My God, they must be so exausted by the time they get there. Poor children. I wish I could help them.😥
I'm from Bangladesh..after seeing this documentary i'm angry towards the teachers of my village school..They always complain that They can't come regularly to teach the students from a distant place...Shame on them..
NITTI FYRAN Basically what he said was that in his village in Bangladesh that his teachers complained that it was hard for them to get to school to teach the children and that he was angry at them.
ashraful Alam Those are some selfish teachers.. education is the only thing that can make their life better and they are preventing them from getting it. Makes me angry just reading about it
Nicole Ramnarine My girlfriend lives near there, and I’ll be returning to Bolivia as soon as it’s safe to do so (as Covid is really bad there now). Maybe if we can exchange contacts, when I return I can go there, as I’d like to make a donation as well. You could tell me how much or what you’d like to donate, and I could make that donation on top of mine, provide video evidence that I’ve given it to them, then get you to send me it. Or if there’s some other way you’d prefer to do it let me know. Safe ✌️

Thank you😘 Soy Boliviana viviendo en Arizona muchas gracias :)

This makes me cry about how lucky we are and how we take advantage of our luxuries. I walk only ten minutes to drop my son at school and we still feel lazy to get up. Thumbs up to such hard-working, strong children.

So true cause my dad just drives me to school and it takes 3 minutes
While im sure the thought of "This is a long way to go just for school" has probably passed their minds before. I would gamble most dont actually think much of it.
If you've never known anything other then that lifestyle, alot of them probably feel lucky to be able to adventure everyday on the way to school.
It reminds me of a time i went to a friends house in the rural countryside. We walked an hour and half if not more both ways, just to see visit some girl for an hour or so.
I remember even complaining on the way back about how its so far, and commenting "how can you do this all the time" and he just shrugged and said, "I dunno, you get used to it"
People adapt pretty easily.

Elmer carrying his brother all the way back touched my soul and their dad coming for them on the zip line touched my heart

Wow, tough life but you made it!

Akayy ! At least for the very young kids, maybe? If they’re only 4 or 5 I can’t imagine what real work they could be helping their parents with.

Wow congratulations!! That's really wonderful good for you!
I wish you greatness.
Congrats
Congrats engineer!
Glad your fulfilling your dream! 💕👍
These kids have such a hard life. Hopefully they succeed with their life. The teachers are also risking their life to teach these kids. Salute to them.
breaks my heart....All these celebrities and rich living in all their wealth, when just $20 could save these ppl's lives :(
👍🏿
Yep
Celebrities? What about you? Are you helping with $20 where you are?
Lay
I think it’s more because celebrities have that extra cash that, “I want it I got it” type of mentality to them. Many middle class people still need to be vary with their money spending as do others, except celebrities who have a pretty good amount $$ having more then 1 car, houses with serval rooms, etc.
20$ to us is 20$ but to a celebrity 20$ might seem like change in a sense
My mom won’t even let me go out to the corner of my house.
But these kids allowed to cross the entire Amazon Jungle 😭😭
Much respect to them ❤️
Be thankful...these kids doesnt have a choice
There people are friendly than you and I live
Bek Khan Berke ?.
britneyxoxo I think what he’s trying to say is the people who live there in Bolivia are kind and how they live there aren’t as many dangers to face in the way of ppl like many other countries do.
I will never let my daughters roam in that wild jungle by themselves even I and my kids were born there because I can't forgive myself as an unresponsible mother if something happen to them.
They have so little but u can still see their happiness despite everything. God bless all these children.
I was thinking I see alot of love in this misfortune 😊
Happiness comes within and ur right
The little boy wants to be an engineer as he grow up "because I want to build a bridge here"
Heavens hear his words 👐
I believe he will do it
And yet the United States built a bridge to no where. 🤦♀️
i had this feeling that he will build that bridge
Go young boy and build those bridge and roads .
Me identifico contigo
Millions of people watched these series and millions of them willing to help those children but don't know how. Why don't these filmmakers form an international organization and incorporate the power of millions of people here? I will be happily contributing my part if such an organization will form up.
Same here
they might do this for entertainment and money
I would be so happy if this happened
Well said m happy to help
Imagine having gym after walking down a mountain, through water, up a hill, and 2 miles down a dusty and dangerous road. I think instead of gym they deserve a nap.
"suddenly a storm draws near"
Me: seriously?? Right now Mother nature?? You chose TODAY to have a temper tantrum!!
I'm really worried about them because of the amazon rainforest fires
so am i !!!!!
They most likely live in the western part of Bolivia (since thats wher la paz is) the fires are on the eastern side
@@teoxihuitl2007 really
The Amazonia rainforest fires are basically concentrated in Brazil. I'm from Brazil and I can't tell how much this situation breaks my heart. Things were bad already, but it's getting worse thanks to the new president (Bolsonaro). All the shame on him!!!
@@cryingtrouble Actually there is A LOT of fire in Bolivia and no one is talking about it because everyone is focused on Brazil (which isnt bad) but Bolivia has been burning too.....
Seeing the holes in their shoes and trousers brought tears to my eyes. God bless these children.
Those teachers deserves an Oscar award. Teaching two classes simultaneously 💪💪
Yip indeed it must be difficult
aki bro hatufai kuongea nimefeel bad for those 2 girls and mother ngai my God help them
there are a lot of other teachers who teach multiple classes simultaneously.
I'm not sure a acting award is the right one maybe something else lol
the two little girls walking by themselves breaks my heart
If only their dad could walk them..
So sad.. felt so helpless.
Just amazing by angels are watching over them
I wish I could send the two girls some toys and clothes, their dedication to education amazes me. I have also never heard a child in the US that young say that they want to be an engineer. It goes to show when you don't have something it drives you to want it. We have so many resources here in the US and people don't understand that it is a privilege.
I'd also love to send shoes, socks n clothes n little barrettes for their hair.Does anyone know an address?
I hope the documentary crew would of provided with a few new things especially new shoes for the older girl!
Kids in westernized societies either want to be tiktok stars or trans
I’ve seen many children in the US say they want to be an engineer. Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Stop comparing places. You sound dumb.
Yeah, sure....
What beautiful courageous and honourable ppl. Omg the children walking for hours and taking risks through snake infested terrain. Absolute heroes each and everyone of them!!! ❤
❤
When I was 6, I used to walk around 5 miles on weekdays. It was hard, but when I see this documentary, my hardness wasn't that hard. I never had to take zipline though. These kids are going through life and death travel every day. Truly heartbreaking.
5 miles? OMG
My parents used to walk 8 miles every day and they influenced me to do it to i did it for years when i was 12 it got less frequent now i dont go walking anymore lol
But i liked it
@@UserName23567Bro your strong
I can't believe this is real and I live literally 3 hours far away this region. This is insane and the worst part is that nobody shows this anywhere. I feel so ashamed that the government or anyone does something to improve these children's life
Is there a way to donate shoes and clothes to those girls?
@@temptedhazelaht idk
The government buys them football kits! They'd do better to buy them shoes & build a bridge!
That shows your ignorance and why don't you help instead of relying someone else to do it for you
My fathers Bolivian and he always told me about how he had to walk through through the jungle to get to school in Los Yungas when he was younger, i think its important to pay attention to the stories now that im older, its just such a different life they lived than the one they blessed me with in the U.S.
Hello fellow Boliviano/a!😘 My grandfather grew up dirt poor near La Paz. But we eventually immigrated to the US thankfully.
Sameee it’s honestly sad and I hate how I complain about stupid things
Those two girls are so brave walking all that distance on their own. Its good to know that they get fed good food in school. Bolivian government is doing great job running schools in rural areas.
Kitty,
It's true, before children had nothing, nothing...!
And now the Bolivian government gives a balanced diet at school to all children,
plus a modest monetary sum each year to buy their basic needs.
You call a bag of cookies fruit and juice a good Balance meal… wow …. That’s more like a snack … children need at least a sandwich 🥪🍪🧃🍌🥛*** a long day … not to mention dinner 🥩🍔🌮🍛🥛🧋🍟🍗🍐🍉🥗
Not true, I am Bolivian and our government is terrible! Most people in the rural area don’t have the possibility to attend school
@@robertomunozm07 sad part America wants to dismantle there gov and become like this
I love how the older brother falls with his little brother, laughs and then picks him back up!!😂😂 SO CUTE!!! I ALMOST CRIED
Just rewatched this. I still can't believe those two little girls have to walk for 3 hours, through the jungle, just to get home from school and that is up hill too. Ugh I don't know them but I love them already.
@Alexander Harris he's not worth it
@Alexander Harris 🙃🙃
S true.... Me too love those kids...
As someone who has immigrant parents that came from poverty in Ecuador, this hit close to home. Even moving to the US to give me and my siblings better lives there is so much they can do in a country where they are judged and limited for simply wanting to achieve a better life for themselves and children.

I am humbled. I am showing this to my students Tuesday.

Safe ✌️
