Been enjoying your channel for some time, and wondered why it hadn't come up on my recommendations list. It makes total sense to step back from videos for awhile. I hope all is well.
Project builds. Tips and tricks videos are a dime-a-dozen here on UA-cam.
True but there are a ton of project videos also.

So I’m no YT content creator but..I do watch a lot of vids. I’m also following several pages on FB that are woodworking related. You are the first person I’ve seen address YT burnout. I see a lot of comments on social media of folk who are really considering going full time into business of woodworking. That’s their choice and I would wish them well….but…it’s been my experience that once someone takes a hobby so far that it becomes a job they end up not liking the hobby / job later on due to the demands of a job versus a hobby. I just recently found your channel and enjoy the vids you have. Good luck with your endeavors either way.
thank you for the update. I have learned a lot about the tips and tricks of woodworking from you. It is a hobby I took about 2 years ago when I retired from teaching. I have enjoyed your videos and look forward to more. Don't burn yourself out. Take it easy and enjoy the time you have with whatever you are doing. Your true fans will always be here. I found you today when I was looking for tutorials on half lap shelves. 😁 Subscribed when you said you weren’t gonna stain the back but decided to anyway cuz it would bug you “forEVER.” #truth
Anyway, not sure if you have looked into this at all, but that super keen, super deep dive into a hobby for a long time and then shift to the next thing is actually really common for neurodivergent peeps. You may be #oneofus. 😂 I’m an autistic adhder (super late diagnosed - in my 40s!), and hindsight, I now realise why I do that saaaaame thing. It’s a super power. And it why my hubby calls me a hoarder because mate, I’ve spent $1000s on my various tools and gadgets - I WILL USE THEM AGAIN. 😂😂😂😂

Best of luck dude think good thing for you to do for us would be some proper smalls that u think will sell quick easy projects that you can do quick aswell to save time. And yea tips and tricks videos. Video on table legs would be helpful!👍🏴

Welcome back home lol j/k idk you that well but I’m believing woodworking is like a first love that you’ll always have a passion for and will always be there for you. It’s just very understandable about the social media burnout. I think the goal and plan for the channel you stated in this video will be great. A mix of everything without pressure. My newly recent hobbies have come to include sign making and using a diode laser… have you gotten into either of those to incorporate?
Haha thanks! I've debated getting a laser many times but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
