if i was gonna buy any other detector it would be this one. maybe if i'm lucky i'll find one of these for cheap one day. so far my favorite frequencies on my nokta are 15khz and 40khz. i havent given multi frequency enough of a chance though. i used M1 a little on where i found my IHP (i keep pulling 60s and 70s pennies with beautiful patinas there) but i tried M3 on a wet field and within 3 swings on my first target i said "nope!" and went back to 15. havent tried M2 or 4khz enough.. but my soil does seems to accept 4khz. one thing i figured out about where i found the IHP is that there are large things like large pipe pieces and concrete chunks underground which means it was probably disturbed in some spots. my guess is when they expanded the community center sometime between 1950-1970. i still pull targets out of there every time i go.
