6:02-6:12 "E is for evil fish, evil bloody fish! UUUGH!!!" The fish just want to make up for a distinct lack of birds in this game~ That said the complete derailment several outtakes cause is quite amusing. =n.n=
Originally, I had used "Wipeout" by the Surfaris, but my video got silenced due to copyright issues, and thus I had to re-edit. After this incident silenced a number of my videos, I switched to just using video game music.
I was playing this level a minute ago, and man, it's harder than I remember. I don't know how I did it when I was a kid, I don't remember having so much trouble with it. I'm 27 now and it was so hard lol. Reminded me of Battle toads and the speed bikes of the third level. Also in Megaman X4 one of the bosses stages is entirely on a water bike. Stingray something I can't remember.
Well, annoying or not, UA-cam still is responsible for having gotten me a lot of friends, so if I have to occasionally re-upload an older vid, so be it. With the disputed audio removed, they don't have any claims on them anymore, so sooner or later, they have to stop whining ;)
It happened just today, a copyright issue came up due to the music I used for the outtake transition. It happens sometimes, and when it does, I remove the old one and add a new version that doesn't have the disputed music.
Hmm.... that, I really don't know what to say about that. I use a different codec now than I used to, the DivX codec, and I don't seem to have as many desync issues as I used to. When I do, I manually adjust it in Windows Movie Maker when I do the final video editting.
More or less, yes. That's how I try to be, not let things get to me as much as possible. If I have to occasionally re-edit and upload a video, so be it. I still have all the old footage, so it's no big deal.
Indeed, Mega Man logic can be questionable at best. But then, I suppose Wave Man's attack is more focused than just water sitting around to swim in. I mean, it's like how being hit by a stream from a fire hose would have more impact than jumping in a pool.
The good thing about Waveman is that he will never make his water wave underneath you, the only way to get hit by it is to move to where it is spawning. So just like you said, if you stay still when he lands, he won't hit you with it. If only Aquaman was cutious like that, oh well...
The Wave man stage is pretty cool. Water steam combined with morning stars is well thought, because you need to find the perfect timing to go through. Then going into a speed part with that cool speed-boat gives you a great jump n`run experience. And to Wave-man. He is very agressive with his jumps, harpoons and water-steam attacks. The funny thing is that you need to stay as near as possible to him to fight him. Very cool stage :)
Octoper was planned to have a tentacle that it could use to limit your movement area by poking it up. This was seen in a trailer build and the sprite is still in the game
Basically, all I can recommend is just staying still to watch his attack. Wait to see where he makes the Water Wave. Jumping is fine though, so you can jump the harpoon without incident.
On one of my Silent Hill vids, the still ended up being an extreme closeup of Dahlia Gillespie trying to kiss the camera, from the game's "outtake reel."
You missed a small detail about the Water Wave: it can absorb one shot per water column (standard plasma shot like those from the shielded cannons). So...it's probably the most useful shield weapon from the NES series since it can absorb more than one hit if you count it as one.
Aye, I agree with that. Though I'd still probably remove it and re-edit it to remove the silent area and so I don't have an annoying flagged video on my page. That just bugs me, you know?
@dorourke105 - It was my understanding that, all other variables being constant, that The Bird was equal to or greater than The Word. Though this has yet to be scientifically proven.
The DOS Mega Man games were developed by Hi-Tech Expressions (by a two-person team, I believe) under license from Capcom. The reason the PC games jump from 1 to 3 was to capitalize on the NES version of Megaman 3, which had recently been released. I could give you a full infodump, bit I instead suggest you look up the episodes of Ancient DOS Games on them, which explain far better than I can.
But the jet ski section is sooooooo much fun! i guess it must be annoying for a perfect runer :p but if you don't mind getting a hit or two is so cool.
So long as you don't move from the place you're at when he lands, he will never cause the Water Wave to hit you. I have actually wondered if they are ever going to make Classic Series' Canon Counterparts to the PC Mega Man Games. We already have Oil Man, Wave Man, and Blade Man. -Old School Video Game King-
Probably Charge Shots. The trouble with Charge Kick is I don't think it makes you invincible to the Water Wave, so chances are you'll still get hit with it.
i really like that attitude, i mean, let's face it. nothing happens if you cry over death roses! so let's put up a smile and solve anything we can (for best if it can be done), to the bright tommorrow! right roahm?
Well, I pretty much have to. I have enough problems in my life, making extra problems certainly doesn't help. If it happens, it happens, and I'll fix it.
Uhh.... no, that one's just not happening ^_^;; The Cut Man No Miss Run was enough for me. Doing so... I'm glad the person who requested it enjoyed it, but I myself did not. It wasn't fun for me at all, it was extremely tiring, and heavily stress inducing.
Roahm couldn't help it either when he collected Wave Man's disk. It's that crest based off of the typical depiction of Triton's crown that does it, I think. Well, that and his build.
It seems like it would be fairly easy to avoid using Special Weapons in Wave Man's level. The only place where special weapons really have a good use is against Wave Man.
No, Charge as in physically charging ahead like a speeding train. I would guess that a weapon that basically makes Mega Man's slide hit like a locomotive is not exactly friendly to someone whose body seems partly comprised of and whose main business deals with water tanks and pipes. Also.. as Roahm says, the Charge Kick looks and feels like it _should_ pierce the Water Wave, even though it doesn't.
Huh, I always took those spouts in this stage to be water rather than gas. I suppose it doesn't make a whole lot of different, it does damage either way... ^^:
roahm...i don't know why, but sooner or later you will end up re-uploading the whole perfect run series...you know...they all have songs that could make youtube remove the audio... i don't want to think about it...
You can't have any fun anymore... What's the point of YT, anyway? To show off one's vacation slides? The rich folk who sold this thing to Google have music videos and the like to thank for their successes. They need to remember that or remove the site entirely.

"Ooh, one-up!"
*hit*
lol

i'm in love with waveman's theme...
awesome run roahm!

New classic Roahm catchphrase - "That did not just happen!"
As stated in the description, the song used was "Wipeout" by the Surfaris.
Eh, if it does, it does. It's alright. Sooner or later, there will be no more audio disputes, and I won't have to worry about it anymore ;)
E is for Eddie...and E is also for eddy, a swirling water current!
MOAR WATER N STUFF.

Hmm..... hadn't thought of it that way...... that does fit rather well, actually.
RoahmMythril What do you mean?
Basically, all I can recommend is just staying still to watch his attack. Wait to see where he makes the Water Wave. Jumping is fine though, so you can jump the harpoon without incident.
"Here we have gas." I don't know why but this lines reminds me of an AFV video showing a gas station sign saying "Kids with Gas eats for free."
On one of my Silent Hill vids, the still ended up being an extreme closeup of Dahlia Gillespie trying to kiss the camera, from the game's "outtake reel."

It's also Star Man's weakness. In addition, it breaks the Star Crash
The boss music, I really don't know. Most of it doesn't stick in my head as much as the stage themes.
That Water segment is just a pain. Especially in the Wily's Dream Space romhack. UGH!! -_-
So what song got this removed?. I rather liked your music selections for all your vids and to see some of them cause this, is upetting.
So, you can swim in water in pretty much every Megaman game... yet take damage from a water spout from a boss. Yay, Megaman logic!
Aye, I agree with that. Though I'd still probably remove it and re-edit it to remove the silent area and so I don't have an annoying flagged video on my page. That just bugs me, you know?
heh, it doesn't surprise me roahm...you're always looking at the bright shiny side of the things...heh...
Haha, indeed, I remember how derailing that was X)

It's just what I tend to mostly have for just short little fanfares.
But the jet ski section is sooooooo much fun! i guess it must be annoying for a perfect runer :p but if you don't mind getting a hit or two is so cool.
Wave man’s stage is one of my favorites for that reason.
So long as you don't move from the place you're at when he lands, he will never cause the Water Wave to hit you. I have actually wondered if they are ever going to make Classic Series' Canon Counterparts to the PC Mega Man Games. We already have Oil Man, Wave Man, and Blade Man.

Probably Charge Shots. The trouble with Charge Kick is I don't think it makes you invincible to the Water Wave, so chances are you'll still get hit with it.
On a different note, what happened to the orginal version of this? I think I remember watching it before, but I'm not certain.
i really like that attitude, i mean, let's face it. nothing happens if you cry over death roses! so let's put up a smile and solve anything we can (for best if it can be done), to the bright tommorrow!
right roahm?
if your going for a basic no damage run of this guy roahm do u recommend charge shots or using charge kick?
Well, I pretty much have to. I have enough problems in my life, making extra problems certainly doesn't help. If it happens, it happens, and I'll fix it.
Interesting how Wave Man was kinda the basis for Flame Man's attacks in Megaman 6.
I was going for the "greedy, money grabbing corporations," but that works too. XD
to wave man: HEY MERMAID MAN!! WHERE'S BARNICLE BOY?!?
Uhh.... no, that one's just not happening ^_^;; The Cut Man No Miss Run was enough for me. Doing so... I'm glad the person who requested it enjoyed it, but I myself did not. It wasn't fun for me at all, it was extremely tiring, and heavily stress inducing.
Commenting on an old vid again, but I can't help but say how much Wave Man reminds me of the Pokemon Empoleon...
Roahm couldn't help it either when he collected Wave Man's disk.

It seems like it would be fairly easy to avoid using Special Weapons in Wave Man's level. The only place where special weapons really have a good use is against Wave Man.
BTW, has anyone ever noticed that Wave Man is basically just a better version of Bubble Man?
I only have one major thing to say... DOLPHINS. I know their Dr.Wily made but, hey, I am a dolphin after all. Gotta love the Dolphins ^_^
Does anyone know _why_ Wave Man is weak to the Charge Kick?
Charge...like electricity?
No, Charge as in physically charging ahead like a speeding train.
I would guess that a weapon that basically makes Mega Man's slide hit like a locomotive is not exactly friendly to someone whose body seems partly comprised of and whose main business deals with water tanks and pipes. Also.. as Roahm says, the Charge Kick looks and feels like it _should_ pierce the Water Wave, even though it doesn't.
Apparently it’s because he doesn’t like close range combat according to Megaman and Bass.
If you think of it, the charge kick animation looks like a "surfboard" and because of this megaman uses to ride the "wave"., : )
@Lycanthrokeith Hey have you by chance heard? You haven't? Cause I was pretty sure everyone had heard that the bird is the word
I think it's called Octoper A. Weird name, that.
Song-wise, I was expecting either "Surfin' Safari" by The Beach Boys, or "Surfin' Bird" by The Trashmen.
i wonder if the miniboss name was a Red October Reference?
I think (P)sine waves are the best of all waves.
I love how you replace all the music with stuff from Warioware. Irony
haha the gas comes out of the cracks
Excuse me Roahm, but who is your faorite robot master?
Did you say that miniboss was named October? And he's red? >_> Silly references.
Huh, I always took those spouts in this stage to be water rather than gas. I suppose it doesn't make a whole lot of different, it does damage either way... ^^:
Waveman aka. the Freaky Fishguy!
Huh. Aren't those water things... Familiar?
You kept thinking that those robots were fish, or that actual dolphins were fish till you looked it up? (Joke question) xP
He may be the "Wierd fish guy"(Dont remember that much) lost brother from YGOTAS XD
Oh my god, will UA-cam's censorship mafia NEVER stop? Now RoahmMythril got hit. None of us are safe!
roahm...i don't know why, but sooner or later you will end up re-uploading the whole perfect run series...you know...they all have songs that could make youtube remove the audio...
i don't want to think about it...
They used a dragons one weakness: the allure of the shiny
You can't have any fun anymore... What's the point of YT, anyway? To show off one's vacation slides?
