This would be the perfect all arounder can if they made the brake and ratchet teeth out of stainless...Titanium doesn't do well with wear resistance. It's a fairly soft metal with it being a step above aluminium with wear resistance. Everything else Ti is awesome though. Especially for the price
Unless they are willing to replace high wear parts, I'd MUCH rather have a smidge of added weight for the longevity of the investment. This looks promising, none the less; Ti at an affordable price.

Thanks Adam for another great review. My only recommendation to Sylvan would be to move the serial # closer to the initial blast chamber and mount in case it needs to be serviced/repaired later on.
Great video! Even their website doesn't give the weight....or really very much information at all. They should PAY you, because I think I'm going to buy this!!!! At $1,000, the Silencerco Omega 300 has just priced themselves out of my budget.
@@nfareview Well done, sir. No second party sales on this item yet. I hope to see this can offered at a slight discount soon. I am sure we will. It is a little larger than many .30 caliber cans. More internal volume usually means more sound suppression. From your video it seems VERY quiet with 300 subs. Nice. Thanks again.
Good question. It is the pop that comes when the first round burns up the oxygen that’s initially in the suppressor. Once it’s burned up, the subsequent rounds are usually quieter.
When you go to a bar with friends, your first round of drink should always be a carbonated soft drink to help releasing gas from your belly. We call it 'First Round Soda' here in the south.
Since this is Sylvan's first suppressor I would have liked some background on their engineering, testing, etc., to make this a serious suppressor. The low price is nice but why would anyone role the dice on an untested design and manufacturer when it comes to a NFA purchase?
Quick question, does the Warthog work with the SilencerCo ASR mount? I have a spare ASR suppressor mount and would like to toss it on there so I don’t need to swap out my brakes. (Warthog is currently in NFA jail).
I could use a little advice. I’m looking at building a form 1 suppressor for my 300win mag. I’d like to use a titanium tube for it. But I don’t know enough about titanium to know if it’s strong enough to not swell off a threaded end cap. I know aluminum isn’t strong enough to not expand and steel is a bit heavier than I really want to go. In your experience is an 8 inch long 1-1/2 inch tube strong enough to handle a 300 win mag?
Adam how would you compare this to the YHM Resonator (sound wise)? They seem to be in the same price range and I'm looking for an affordable 30cal can to leave on my AAC Handi Rifle in 300blk.
Iv8888 just blew one up in less than two mag dumps…. I’d say this suppressor for $600 is a piece of junk. Completely unacceptable performance especially for the money.

No they are not because I made all the pasts for it. I'm defiantly in America.
