Thanks for all you guys do. We had a house fire (large attic fire) in my neighborhood yesterday of the house just across from our backyard, in Tempe, Arizona. It was the sweetest sight when this monstrosity shows up with this giant remote control water cannon and spotlight and just destroys the fire. House is pretty beat up, but it can be fixed.
All in all over 20 vehicles responded in my small neighborhood. First responders were from Mesa FD which is the furthest (I don't know how they got their first) then Tempe (closest) then Chandler FD
speedevil22 it depends on the speed of the trucks as some are faster than others but then again depends on who's driving, some guys have a heavier foot than others,i always had a heavy foot where some our guys had a lighter foot.
That's easy. To act as a barrier/ early warning to drivers in case someone flying around that last curve in the highway didn't see the accident scene in time to slow down or move to the other lane. It is routinely done at locations such as this and also on interstate freeways.
+TheRedPineapple And every department Ive served on require you to wear full PPE on ANY scene unless its medical, then station wear/jacket and medical gloves.
Plus hes a driver he should be comtherable when he drives his gear is prob in the rear of the truck and had more important things to accomplish other than put his pants and boots on
