I'll bet the previous owner would have a heart attack if he saw what the farm looks like now. Great job joe. Oh yeah, great shot of those birds flying in v formation. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Nice small metal drag or old wire fence with pipe on top with chains to hook to mower to drag driveway will keep your drive nice and level. This place is going to be a treasure. Get pastures all fenced in and nice little shed and get a few cows and hogs again. I am jealous.
Woohoo!!!!...MY workshop is coming along nicely. So happy that the lathe, planer and scroll saw are in. Just a few more items and I will be Happy, Happy, Happy....lololol Joe FYI, I am now using paper plates on days other than picnics. As s single guy I have come to appreciate them more and more. For those who haven't made the switch, there are days when you'd rather get your hands dirty than wet...lol ....McLoving the Farmhouse . Keep it up.
You impress me on how hard you work, at that homestead and at the Hobby Farm and at the tent. I don't know how old you are, but, you put young men to shame, Miss Melissa is a very fortunate woman to catch a man like you. I'M sure she's a hard worker as well, and you are fortunate to have her. Your property is beautiful!
Those long days you guys are putting in is paying off BIG time with what you've accomplished with the place !! Can't wait to see what's next. Stay safe and happy !!
Even though you must get exhausted at times, don't worry about us, we never get tired from watching your videos, lol. Hope you had a good Dad's Day, knowing your family, I have no doubt that they showed you the love they have for you. Much love and respect from soggy Deltona, Florida. ♥🎈♥
when I was selling lawn mowers. I would help the customer decide how big of a mower to get by their yard size and how much time it took them to cover the area. The general goal was hour and half. I would suggest getting a bush hog style mower for behind the tractor for the pasture. They have heavy duty blades (1/2 or 3/4 inch thick) mounted on hinges so that the give when you get into something tough to mow. they are designed with the idea of knocking down small sapplings so occasional iron bits wont hurt it much I use a cloquet made out of clear 2 liter soda bottles to protect small garden plants from cold snaps. you can leave them on until the plants gets too crowded. I have left them on for upwards of a minth at a time. keeps birds off small plants also
Wow. The farm is really looking nice! Hard to believe it’s the same rough looking place you purchased. You can really work miracles with your work ethic.
Good job, Joe! Tell Melissa her jambalaya looked absolutely delicious 😋. Great job Melissa! You and Joe make a great team in the kitchen..so nice! The farmhouse is looking terrific! Don’t give up on your little garden..hope you don’t have any little critters underground having a nibble or two on your potatoes 😢
Nice progress Joe and Melissa , it’s looking great . I always have a chuckle watching the farmhouse videos , the dogs are always following you around outside. They always look excited like , what are we doing now Joe! Lol
Beautiful photo of the ducks flying , that is awesome... hope one day Melissa will give her recipe for her Potato Salad mixture... and Joe you are amazing in what you do ... always...
The place looks beautiful! I can't get over what major improvements you've made in so short a time and with such extreme weather. The road looks great, the grass manicured and the workshop is already transformed. Thanks for showing how you did the mushrooms. What a nice idea! I think I'd come up and work for free just to eat that food! Amazing progress. These are great videos. I stop everything the minute a notification comes in and watch immediately. Thank you so much for taking the time to make them for us. :)
Looking good Joe . Maybe a land plane to grade that driveway . It sure would save the body . Better than a blade . You could even grade your tent and dad's driveway if you decided to bring the tractor up there . That tent driveway sure is long .
I used to work in a canning factory where we canned collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, spinach and other vegetables. If you only knew what we found in some of the cans you wouldn’t be eating them. Always grow your own. I love garlic also and my son will eat it plain but I like mine in foods. Your doing a great job on your place. Thanks for the zip code.
Wow, you got so much done. Many hands make lighter work...…..it's wonderful you got some helpers for your shop and it's looking great. The deck looks nice, and now it's safe. Loved the shot of the birds heading North. Your mind must go 90 over nothing with the tent, your hobby farm, your new farm with Melissa, work, etc......…..my goodness. And I see someone named Michelle already asked about the potato salad. I know this isn't a cooking show, and it appears Melissa doesn't really care to be on camera. But perhaps she could just type out her ingredients and how she puts it together in the description part below your video? No doubt those of us who are so interested in her potato salad would love to "watch" her make it, but if she's uncomfortable doing that, I'd sure settle for her recipe. Thanks Joe & Melissa!!
After watching this, I have so much to say: First of all take a look at your beautiful, awesome , amazing land at 7:40 and tell me this is what Heaven looks like. wow! You inspire me so much with your energy and enthusiasm that I put my painting down to sit and watch this. I hated to see it end. I wish I had the woodworking skills you've got because I could make myself a display for my paintings at art shows. An easel doesn't do it. I need something that displays multiples at once, something lightweight. You have a stellar life, and I really do pray to God for yours and Melissa's continued health to be able to continue doing what you love. Your property is book beautiful because you made it that way. Thank you for always sharing with us.
Everything's coming along at the farmhouse Joe. Love watching you mow that massive lawn. Always good to see Melissa's famous potato salad :-). Looking forward to the next video.
Everything coming along great 👍 I did plant SWISS CHARD thanks to you and my dad. Those greens looked so good. Really enjoy your Videos they encourage me. Thanks 😊
Joe. Always like your videos but never comment. I would just say a bush hog type mower pulled behind your tractor will save you a lot of time in the pasture. I have a 7 foot bush hog brand I pull behind a John Deere 4020 (100 HP) and it does a good job but faster. Not sure of your HP but mine will pull down RPM's if I get in tall grass, not so much in weeds.
Very impressed with your shop. Looks freaking amazing. Love the use of wood with the metal ceiling. Can't wait for the finished product. Of course like anything it really finished. New subscription holder here and can't wait for more.
Joe great video again next tine you should wait for your grandson xander to shouffle in the gaps it maybe nor as fast but what a day he would have greats from the Netherlands
Joe, I make portabellas all the time, we put a lot of cracked pepper salt them, with the olive oil infused with garlic on them, we put green chopped olives or black, red onions chopped, and feta cheese, they are wonderful
75 years ago- Most people built their own roads, grew their own vegetables, butchered their own meat, cooked meals for their families, built their own houses and barns- The only difference with Joe- He does all of that before lunch!
The driveway does look so nice. Sorry you wore yourself out on that. I was thinking you would use the tractor to also smooth it all down. With practice you should be able to dump the dirt and then place the bucket on the ground and smooth it along. Ceiling and double doors looks so nice. I really love love love that wood wall. Can't wait for walls to get painted and those cement stumps gone. You are going to wear out the yard mower doing the field work. Is there an attachment for farm mower for that tractor? Cause that would be the ticket. Sweet Melissa makes good ol fashion southern food. yum o
Amazing how little Ten Yards will Cover after working it all down. The Farmall would run a box scraper real well. But Man...That stuff looks like it will work good on the driveway.
I'll bet the previous owner would have a heart attack if he saw what the farm looks like now. Great job joe. Oh yeah, great shot of those birds flying in v formation. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
I ran for the camera to catch that video shot. Thank you for noticing.
Yes, i lived those birds too!
LOVED. Hahahahaha
I planted my potatoes 14 inches deep and it took 4 weeks but they are fine now. love your videos Joe
keep them coming
You do more in a day than some people do in a month, unbelievably hard worker...just such an inspiration to get things done
Livin' the American Dream, Joe!
God bless you...
Nice small metal drag or old wire fence with pipe on top with chains to hook to mower to drag driveway will keep your drive nice and level.

After raking out 10 yards of recycled concrete, your chiropractor will want to see you. Joe your energy is amazing.
Thank you for the video. Beautiful home.
You sure don't do things half ass Joe I love watching you work!! I wish I could do all the things you can do!!
It is always so calming to watch you go about taking care of your properties. Thanks for sharing

the hardest working man I have ever seen. You are exceptional!
Even though you must get exhausted at times, don't worry about us, we never get tired from watching your videos, lol. Hope you had a good Dad's Day, knowing your family, I have no doubt that they showed you the love they have for you. Much love and respect from soggy Deltona, Florida. ♥🎈♥
That shop will be really nice once it is painted and set up!

Looking good Joe . Maybe a land plane to grade that driveway . It sure would save the body . Better than a blade . You could even grade your tent and dad's driveway if you decided to bring the tractor up there . That tent driveway sure is long .
I like how you work in the fact that you watch Star Trek reruns religiously... !
You really need to get a Bush Hog Joe! Great video as always!
Your shop refurb is looking awesome Joe, very impressive.

A bush hog would make short work of the fields. Your place is looking good!
That tator salad looks so good!
The property has come a long way from when you first got it! Looking good . . .

@@NorthernSeclusion You are welcome. :)
Wow, you are really working hard and getting things done. Everything is looking really nice. And I could eat that food :-)
You should see cc about acquiring a belly mower for you Farmall. It would save you a lot of time mowing.
I enjoy watching your videos
I am ready to eat. That sounds really good.
I am so jealous of your shop!
The place is looking fantastic!
Hi what can I say a other great video enjoying your video every time keep up with the good work looking forward to the next video
Wow, you got so much done! Ready tor Summer!
Joe you should look into a brush mower for the farmall! Would tear right through that mess!
Finish mower, no need for a Bush Hog.
I would just have them put spreader chains on and put 3 inches deep across whole driveway.... enjoy you videos as always
enjoy your videos Joe God bless have a super day
Everything's coming along at the farmhouse Joe. Love watching you mow that massive lawn. Always good to see Melissa's famous potato salad :-). Looking forward to the next video.
Your property is just beautiful.
Looks like a productive weekend!
Man y’all always eating good
Thanks for another great video
Work shops looking good Joe !
Look for a used box blade or land plane for your 3pt hook up. Makes spreading that dirt/gravel much easier. Nice job !!
Everything coming along great 👍 I did plant SWISS CHARD thanks to you and my dad. Those greens looked so good. Really enjoy your Videos they encourage me. Thanks 😊
Dang food looked awesome
You should pick up a box blade for that tractor for the drive they are great hooks right up to the 3 point hitch !!
And a bush hog
Looking good 👍
Joe. Always like your videos but never comment. I would just say a bush hog type mower pulled behind your tractor will save you a lot of time in the pasture. Hard working man! That workshop is looking great. Those geese crack me up. What, 3 months and back south again? So be it.
Joe great video again next tine you should wait for your grandson xander to shouffle in the gaps it maybe nor as fast but what a day he would have greats from the Netherlands

Hi TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS EVERYONE 💖 😊
The food looks good, good job cooking
Everything is looking good!

at 9:16 you said it's been a few weeks since we barbecued on the steak.
I giggled.
I say stuff like that often. when tired.
Oh Dear! Fancy dubbledoors in that shop! Could be a cosy den for the to legs fox on that property! BarbroSweden
Hi man! I like your work and your farm! Good things! Nucu from Dristor DC Romania East Europe.
Love the barn board
Enjoying the videos, only problem is I need to take a nap after all the hard work. :)
I could use one too. Lol.
A box blade on the back of that tractor, would really make that driveway much easier.
And a cutter to save that ridding mower.
The driveway does look so nice. Sorry you wore yourself out on that. I was thinking you would use the tractor to also smooth it all down. Great video
👍 Take care and God bless ✌️
Looks ,like a good lunch 😋
Showing us your attempt to plant a few things I'm thinking you could use a greenhouse this far north.
Amazing how little Ten Yards will Cover after working it all down. The Farmall would run a box scraper real well.
But Man...That stuff looks like it will work good on the driveway.
