Hi Richard, Trevor Rabin sounds like something I might like. I see a ton of Sparks lately throughout the vinyl community, so I guess I better get cracking and give them a listen. I could go for that Paul Rodgers solo album. The guy could sing a phone book and make it sound good. That David Bowie clip at the end was new to me. Some nice finds here Richard. ✌
Hi Mike, thanks for watching. Sparks seem to be the best-known unknown artists in the World - I have been a fan since '74 and the Kimono My House album, a classic of glam rock. The Bowie content on the video I showed is a joy and new to me too.
Hi Richard , always thought Korgis were interesting. The B side to Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime was called Dirty Postcards , a whimsical bar room piece but with a stunning Prog synth outro which I love to this day . Don’t think it’s on the album . I have some later Rabin solo work , always worth checking out
Hi Graham, thanks for watching. Just checked, that Korgis song is not on Dumb Waiters - it's on their first (self-titled) album. I will look it up and give it a listen.
Thanks for watching, John. I had not appreciated the two main Korgis were formerly in Stackridge either - somewhat chalk and cheese musically. I did also see they went back to a revived Stackridge in the '00's.
Hey Richard I've got that Korgis album but never investigated Stackridge. I love Sparks and have a number of their albums..lil Beethoven isn't one of them..I need to check that out. You can hear that Bowie had sheer class right from the get go.
Hi Rob, well worth giving 'Lil Beethoven a listen - it takes a few plays to get into it but I think its one of their best albums now. That Bowie clip is a joy to watch - he certainly had the X-factor at 19 years of age.
Nice showings Richard. 'Suburban Homeboy' from Lil Beethoven is my favourite ever Sparks song.
Thanks for watching, James. Lil' Beethoven is a great album, close to the top of my list of their best.

I like the look of that Bolan ‘Across The Airwaves’ album, must look out for it. Never knew The Korgis had connections with Stackridge (whom I like.)

Hi Richard , great vinyl finds! Can you provide me with the link or name of the channel that you showed the David Bowie song?
Hi Arturo, thanks for watching. The channel that includes the video containing the clip of Bowie that I showed is named: Yesterday's Papers
