AAA Gaming is Failing

- AAA gaming is failing. With the recent releases of Helldivers 2 and Palworld it has become more clear that AAA games might be on the downward trend. All of this is because of the overall quality of the game. Are games worth $70 anymore when games are coming out for less money and are better quality?

AAA used to be a guaranteed fun time. Now, I wouldn't buy any game from a AAA developer.
I agree honestly these AA devs are crushing it right now.
Sometimes i wonder what cod games would be like if they had a productoin cycle like battlefield instead of the yearly release
They kind do tho. Battlefield games come out roughly every 2-3 years or so. Each cod developer is supposed to have 3 yrs but Covid and MW2 seemed to have messed that up a bit.
@@Bushberry Oh damn, guess i was wrong then. I forgot that dice is the main developer and that they dont have multiple companies. I just want the Cod cycle to go and for activision to make it less money oriented
I completely agree that AAA Gaming is taking a nose dive.
And we all can blame the companies till the cows run out of milk.
The best way to fix this imo is to stop being fooled and buying these half-baked games.
This will force the companies to do much better to win the customers back.
The Bush joke was top tier!
lol glad you liked it!
Mirage should be a textbook example as to why nostalgia pandering never works. They could've created something new like AC Origins
Completely agree! When I first saw the advertisements for this game I had a gut feeling they were banking on players who loved the old ones to buy it,
I hope Palworld, Helldivers 2, and many other quality games in the future get the Baldur's Gate 3 treatment at the game of the year awards to give AAA studios and investors a direct message.
Side note: Let the developers cook. Mute the investors and CEOs.
That’s what I enjoy the most about the VGAs. It helps give some more exposure to small devs.
