Wow thanks so much for these videos! I have been researching ebikes for about a year and settled on this one a few months ago but by then they were sold out on amazon. they finally got some more and I bought one the other day and got the last one with the rear rack and fenders (for grocery shopping and it gets kinda rainy around here). Thanks for showing the seat post diameter, I will be getting one of those and for the tail light alarm. And a thanks for showing how to adjust the derailleur and go through the crank, that is a BIG help. One question: what kind of pedals would you recommend? I've read a few reviews that mention the pedals breaking. Thanks again.
@@delorean1 Question: how did handling, range and speed change with your new tires? I switched mine with Schwalbe Hurricanes, and it already made a large difference, making it a lot better at handling, braking, acceleration and efficiency. Considering you chose even better tires, I'd like to know how it differentiated itself from stock.
I liked seeing the derailleur adjustment and removing the rear wheel and crank tightening, all critical things I hadn’t figured out. I’ve got 2 of these bikes and one won’t turn on anymore even with a full battery, any thoughts on troubleshooting?
I have two of them as well. Have you tried unplugging everything? Velowave support helped me figure out I had a bad controller on one of mine. It was out of warranty, but they still helped.
It does in fact add at least 1. Check the Mfgr website they mention specifically how much. Remember compression height is what matters not the resting height.
Thanks for the video. This is going to save me a lot of time.
You’re welcome.

Wow. The bike actually looks so much better now :O
It sucks that a lot of these bike manufacturers don't offer non MTB tires on these bikes.
The tyres make a big difference.

How much height does that springed seat add? I ride it with the seat as far down as it can go. This looks like it would add a couple inches?

How do you adjust the mileage on the display ? I can’t get it from tripmeter to actual mileage . Thanks
very nice detailed video! I broke two teeth on my rear derailleur this weekend, any idea on which replacement I should use?
Order the one from the OE... I havent had any such issues yet.
Try the Shimano Altus M310/Acera M360.
It works quite well and is a good improvement from the stock Tourney.
So when are you going to do a review with the new added tires?
It would find its way into the next video. I would make one just for the tyres though.
Where did you find the tires? Looking all over hard to find road tires in that size!!!!
Specialized Nimbus 2 Armadillo Reflect 650Bx2.3 you can order online or from your local shoppe.
@@delorean1 Thanks! I found them at a local shop will have to get some soon really am not liking the knobby tires for road at all...
