It was obviously not too bad by the fact that he was up and even willing to do it in the first place. Stuff getting carried around is just kind of how it works and how the immune system works things out in the end. But you can always strap a diaper on your face when you have to be around other people, just in case. You may want to get the latest jab as well.

There are things Derek does that shows his character. The care and effort he provides for his family and friends. Seeing him vacuum the seat for you started this video out on a huge positive note for me.

One guy I bet you would live to talk to is my uncle in Calgary Aberta. He restored many 30s and 40s cars and trucks in his life time. I rode in his 30 model A as a kid and it's something I will never forget. I sent him the video of that 30 something Ford you did and he loved it.

Not a mechanic??? Derek is a master mechanic and being self taught is how they get that badge. Amazing what he learns from the sounds he hears…like watching a car whisperer. My brother is same way and has been a master mechanic at same shop for 35 years. I used to watch him tear things apart to see how they worked as a kid in the 70s.
Best trick ever was rigging the mower by closing gap on plug so we wouldn’t have to mow the yard.

"Why do drive up ATMs have braille?". Because they're the same keypads used on walk-up ATMs. Instead of doubling costs to stamp out 2 different pads that are essentially the same, it costs less to stamp out one type of pad using the same machinery and use it universally on all machines.

It's all algorithm.. but you could buy into that now.. but I find it's cheating to pay for YT to put all her videos on post video recommended. And I think Erica like others don't really like the idea of paying to play. A lot of other factors come into play too. Coming from a UA-camr who didn't sell out and missed the gravy train, I'd say, do everything one can to get ahead. Even if it's "UA-cam TOS" legal to "cheat," since you basically pay Google themselves.

I grew up taking shit apart also. Always wanted to know how it worked. My parents weren't as enthused about having their stuff in pieces. My dad ended up bringing a broken computer from work. By the time someone writes down a reminder I’ve already forgotten it plus my phone screams at me with reminders too. Some see the flame and know it’s hot, some have to touch it but we research it to determine how and why it burns. Thanks for sharing brother, we’re not alone!✌🏼

One....Just look at her, even I got a little nervous? They both talked spouses, but she just seemed so focused on him and her attention directly looking at him while he talked is very rare, and at least to me that gives off a signal of interest. I also love Heidi as a name (For all those who are old enough to remember). I did look at earlier videos on her channel and get the interview style she is going for. Kinda interesting and somewhat new for youtube at least that I follow. I follow Derek's channel and about 60 others (including his son). I think I will see what she can pull off next couple of interviews and then I will sub and see if we can launch her off on a youtube career.

I understand the short-term memory issues due to concussions. My wife is also my rock when helping with that.

This was a cool interview. I like the casual setting and flow.

Like Derek, once I learned how to use a screwdriver as a kid, everything came apart. I won’t forget the reaction when my folks saw the old washer and dryer they set out to be hauled off in a hundred pieces.

Listening to your story makes me think of my brother and I. When we were just little kids, we had a dog bone bicycle ranch And we took every nut and bolt off My mom's car that that wrench would fit. To the point where My Uncle Try to put the car back together. And it was impossible or without all new harder.

27:38, "Are you angry?" lol, this whole video was great. I'm pretty simple, a video with Derek pops up and I'm clicking on it. Been watching VGG for some time now, first time a guy has watched a Heidi or AMC video which I enjoyed so now it is time to binge watch AMC.

Really interesting that Derek is a self taught mechanic, I did not know that nor would I have ever guessed.

He used to install fire alarms systems. That’s why his wiring skills are on par

I know how he feels, no specific car or truck, just whatever catches his eye, and always the older stuff, with real thought put into how its made, not cookie cutter like today where no car has a personality, they are all the same

I realize it's just a joke and all but I think the braille thing on drive-up ATMs is that they don't have special ATMs for drive through use, they're all the same.
