Love being able to communicate without cell reception. If I were off grid more often I'd look at some more robust options, but this suits my needs currently.
Great video!! Could you link me your dash radios and mini? I had been looking for a great señor like this. Had never heard of the mini though! Looks like a great investment.
The leak is most likely coming threw the rivets on the roof of your tent. I had one similar for only 2 weeks I sold that pos and got an alucab and that's been a big upgrade. I paid like 3k though for 2k if u gotta do a little work that's not bad.
Absolutely right on. I removed the two riveted on company name plates and sealed the holes. Everything up top is weather proof now. In hindsight I might have spent the extra money. We'll see if she holds up..
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel yeah for sure the low pro is nice but I found myself really liking being able to leave everything up in the tent and leaves way more room in the cabin for other gear.

Forgot to mention the recovery boards mounted to the back side of the large storage pod, and the fact I'm using a cooler. Are the Dometic fridges worth the $$?! Looking into it..
The TRX wasn't out when I was shopping. Looks like a pretty solid truck, love the HP! The Raptor has the off road performance I was looking for between it's go fast and crawl capabilities. Really happy with it so far!
Do you run APRS on the FTM-400 so fellow hams can see where you're camping? I would scrap the expensive InReach. I'm betting the ham radio would get you help just as fast and you can text and email via APRS.
Very nice set up I like white and black it’s my favorite I’m running a 2020 tundra pro ATOVERLAND atlas pop-up camper live on the road full-time Towing cargo trailer converted be blessed my friend thanks for the videos
I love me some Raptor overland! See you on the trails!!
Yeah buddy! See you out there!
Thanks for sharing. Been throwing the idea of building one and like the reminder about the Garmin.

Awesome walk around. Thinking about doing the same with my upcoming 2022 Tundra pro, lol.
That sounds awesome!
Such a cool setup, i want to do that with my raptor
They make for awesome overland vehicles 👍
Bad ass jenny.. I have a gen1 and 2 myself.
Nice! Thank you
I have the raptor super cab you think i can fit a 250 dirt bike yzf? With tent up on roof and half way back
Great video!! Could you link me your dash radios and mini? I had been looking for a great señor like this. Had never heard of the mini though! Looks like a great investment.
You got everything!! Lucky SOB. No boat? 😉😀
😂 no boat...

are the front springs stock? by lifting the rear did it mess up your rear pinion angle?
Awesome video, I subbed! Can you link me what you used to mount the iPad?

Dometic fridges/freezers are definitely worth it, I got one and use a Jackery solar generator to power it
A combination I'm looking at! Thank you. The Jackery power stations look like good bang for the buck
What size Jackery do you use while out? And I assume you bought the solar panel case as well? Thanks.
@@vicdee367 I'm now running a Dometic DZ75 and Jackery 1000
What app for navigation on the ipad?
Using the Gaia app
I'm new to radios. So with a ham or VHS Radio, you cant pick up CB frequencies?
Ham won't pick up CB.. forgot to mention I'm also carrying some GMRS handhelds as well
Nice truck ! What made you go with the Raptor ? I’m looking into the TRX or Raptor, leaning towards the TRX

@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel and the fuel economy of the Raptor is probably a lot better
Been pretty happy with the mpg for sure
@@TheMugatu definitely better fuel economy the trx gets 14 on highway and 10 in city
@@user-yy7tw9hv9n hey gas is cheap now tho !
So did you lift the front suspension too or only the back?
Only the back to accommodate the overland equipment and trailer tongue weight

You got me wondering what happened to the RZR bro.
Getting to that! Next video
What are the blocks under the front tires for?
Leveling the truck
Where did you get that rack set up from, and the roof top tent?
Rack setup
www.leitnerdesigns.com/
The tent was a one off deal locally. I'd look at a roof nest for something similar.
Cool and thanks for the quick reply, appreciate it. Have a good one👍

That’s not a 2020…. It’s a 15-17🤦🏻♂️
Lol. Wrong. You can tell from the orange live valve fox shocks…
Haha I was confused by the comment myself.. not sure why anyone would lie about the year of vehicle?
