GW apparently pulled most/all the Dwarf units from the CoS range, without much forewarning either. Only found out about it from a number of channels that cover AoS (that popped up in my feed). Just checked and it also looks like GW restructured their website. There is only mention of Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar and now "More" on the main page.
@daangoes121 Perhaps. But that's not going to change if GW goes out of their way to hide them. Lord of the Rings pretty much saved GW at one point, and Warhammer The Old World has a lot of marketing behind it (Vermintide, Total War Warhammer, and Warhammer Online). Just seems like a self-defeating prophecy.
@@ShadowPhoenixMaximus I mean they did add Old world to that interface thing that has the lil icon for each game so you'll see a lil knight of the realm on foot when you scroll through it, it does suck that as things are finally filled out and models are updated that inevitably all Warhammer Fantasy stuff will be relegated back to Old World exceptions being ogres since i expect something due to the model updates they got for gorgers
I don't understand why GW does not address the scalping issue. It pushes away new customers, who is going to invest in the hobby when you can only buy overpriced stuff from unreliable and dishonest sources?
They are lol. All they can really do is expand their production capacity. They announced that they're working towards getting a new factory, which is a massive investment and will take years.
I wonder if they'll redo the High Elf spearmen kit and give them some new weapon options? Same for silver helms. Silverin guard would be nice too. I'm hoping the new main colour scheme for the High Elves will be themed around Cothique or Yvresse (based on their adjacent location to Bretonnia/Old World).
It'll either be wood elves and beastmen are up next or high elves and warriors of chaos. The release order seems to be tied to the shields on cover of the rule book.
@ShadowPhoenixMaximus doubtful. Bretonnia got foot knights and TK got the swarms (if you even want to count that as a unit), neither orcs or dwarfs have new regimented units, only some new character models.alongside all the old stuff coming back.
What’s left to come out on the third wave of Orcs and Goblins? I think everything announced has been released… we are still missing minis from the army books (AOS ones are available, but no distinct old world range) such as fanatics, stone trolls etc!
