The future of this game is in the Arcane Journals. I hope they will publish more than one per race. We can have Slayers Army for dwarfs, Black Grail Army for bretonnia and so on.. They can make the game more diverse without having to create tons of new unit models and making us happy.
I feel like the Cannon that comes with the Skullpass box would be perfect to represent the expeditionary force's cannons. Its a lot smaller than the regular model and stands on four wheels, making it look more mobile.
I take exception at the idea of these new miner’s rules being better than what we had. The whole point of the old set up was having an anvil of doom allowing them to pop out and charge, currently you can’t do that (and the AoD was a warmachine so no dispelling it).
Bought Imperial dwarf and doomseekers to be used as mercenary for my future empire army! It is so cool that they are making a lot of mercenary units, hope they bring back the old dogs of war in the future!
If Old World content were available for Total Warhammer, we could have many more DLCs. Although I doubt that will be the case, I may be surprised in the future.
Burlok may be cheap but i dont know if he's worth it. Basically his only valuable advantage over a regular Enginneer is removing the -1 to-hit penalty for long range. His weapons are quite bad. I would never even use the hammer, it's too risky on a 2W character
I think the dynamics are bretonnia and tomb kings orcs and dwarfs wood elves and beastmen and high elves and chaos, with empire being like the binding glue for everything
Just ridiculous. My boy Ungrim is already out of stock as well as the new Thane, Lord on Shield and arcane journal. Time for GW to hand over the Old World reigns.
17:46 i think even box of hameres that was sell also as long bered will include the axe and sheal from that 2nd unit. Not shure if any oder parts make dirfence for that model (never saw the sprue)
Still annoyed about them removing Malakai from the Hewer box and shitting all over his legacy by saying he was nothing but a fake in lore. What a way to treat legacy characters...
No finer example of "we didn't bother making a new unit, lets use something from the older timeline that shouldn't exist yet and damn the consequence and/or implications."
To be fair, inventions like the Dwarf zeppelin were mentioned in the novels set during the War of the Beard. It is not completely unheard of in the lore for inventions to be lost and sometimes be rediscovered or reinvented.
@@visitingforgefather5997 I'd ahve been fine with them including it and just saying "This only existed later on so if you want to play that era, here it is". I don't get their obsession with MUH TIMELINE UNITS ONLY because it just creates problems.
@@Retrosicotte Yep, as you said it should have just been a option for free play and just make clear to exclude it from any game based of that time period. One other choice that bugs me is the slayers not painting their beards and mohawks orange. Some just do the mohawks but others do neither now. Not sure why they made that change. Maybe they want to make it look like those fire slayers in aos are the only ones doing it despite it being long established the slayers have done this ever since the slayer cult became a thing.

So for kitbashing royal clan warriors do you just get hammerers and build them with the longbeards arms for hand weapons and shields ?

I hope they add the Grudge Pony as a Dwarf unit in TWW since it is a proper unit in the tabletop now. ;)
Does Ungrim “have to” join hammerers or slayers or can he join other units as well, like warriors from the start box?
Got my order in. Not sure what way im going, but I like defensive dwarfs. So we will see.

Iam pretty disappointed. Warmachines are still garbage, the army is still too slow, and the miner army doesn't allow Irondrakes or breaker
Old World is dead mate. No one can afford this game BEFORE - they certainly can't afford it NOW after a 10% price hike last month.
