I have two typhoon 125's, one stock and complete and running, and another missing its entire bolt on quad front end that the previous owner had intended to convert into a suspended 3-wheeler. Geometry on the headtube is all wrong for it (would make the front end fork rake look like a 70s Chopper), so i will have to have that changed at some point to finish the build. That being said, I freakin LOVE the build you did to yours! Not gonna lie, had i seen what that frame looked like, I would have tossed it and tried to use the spare parts for something 'useable'. you guys managed to bring that butchered frame not only back from the dead, but upgraded it to incredible levels! What a killer little rig it is now! Dayum! Well done, and thanks for sharing. Makes me want to dust off the 3-wheeler typhoon project and get it done. I have a ZS190 begging to be put in it, which will rip, but wont have the sound and power band that CR80 in yours has. Awesome!
Thanks man it was a lot of work but also a fun project. I'm glad it makes anyone want to go start building something. It's sad seeing so many part outs and machines being scrapped because they need some work.
@@SeanMooreFilms couldn't agree with you more. Honda ATCs are vanishing because the parts are worth so much more than the bike as a whole. Breaks my heart. I made the comment about the frame on your build because i couldn't believe anyone had the skill to save it. I know I sure don't. So impressive, man. Thanks again.
I must say I really like what you did with the quad man. I saw the video of you fab'n the swingarm so the bird shit welds n booger fab had to go lol. That spine style frame looks like an old curnutt design from the 70s which is cool. That quad looks awesome! It's cool to see other people doing the same thing, fabricating they're own stuff n making things the way they want them. I did the same thing with my daughters quad. Rebuilt the Chinese turd with a fox shock from a 90s sled n used a chinese blaster front suspension, stretched the swingarm 7" and used a pivot bolt n bearings from a honda dirtbike swingarm.
Thanks man! That sounds like a badass build. I been wondering what kind of shocks could get swapped onto these little Chinese machines. The backbone of this quad I had in mind the old style of like a bridge with stamped I beams so it's pretty cool what you got from it.
We used nerf bars from a raptor 250. The size is really good and fairly easy to adapt to that small machine. He has two other typhoons we added the same bars on also.
I took them out and measured all the sizes, I was able to find bearings that way off Amazon by searching the size, not by machine model. Most all the parts have to be searched by sizes on these Chinese machines. We've actually rebuilt the heads with new valves and put new pistons and cylinders on these machine by using part measurements. Hope that helps a bit!
I just looked through my orders. We used 40x52x7 and used 2 on each side. That made it slightly wider than before but due to how that setup is, it has no problem functioning. You'll have a small gap on each side where you adjust.
I've been wanting to do this since I saw the typhoon. Cr80 in Terminator is the reason I ride!
It's a cool little machine

Super cool quad man wish you guys had more subs because you guys deserve it
Thanks man. Hard to get time to make the videos.
Way nicer than the cobbled crap you started out with!
Man I sure hope so, and thanks for checkin it out!!
Awesome build, what nurf bars did you use?

I got one of these to fix up and cant seem to find much info, I really need rear axle bearings.. any idea?

@@SeanMooreFilms yeah, there’s nothing left of my bearings to measure is the only problem 🤣
@@lucaskester8541 oh! I might be able to measure some. I'll try and then send ya some numbers.

THAT WAS AN AMAZING BUILD. Dude. Those first welds look like SHIT! Must have the same welder I have. Haha. But the custom parts... amazing work
Thanks man, lots of work.
@@SeanMooreFilms how long did this take?
@@juicer911 it was probably 4 months work.
What size rear tires are those? My daughter has the same bike
They are 18's. We are actually re gearing that machine right now to give it more torque.
