Do you know if this cemetery might have a grave shelter, a shelter built over a in-ground burial? I'm collecting for a playlist.

10:00 Armand Laquerrre's nephew is also buried in Hope Cemetery. He was a very talented race car driver who died at 17 in an ATV accident. (12:38)

Sadly, the cemetery which was supposed to have 'eternal care', has been allowed to run down...

Hi Dick, nice video on Hope Cemetery. You referred to the monuments as Tomb Stones which is more of what you would call them if you were out West, we prefer in Barre to call them Memorials or Memorial Art as you can see the Craftmanship that went into their creation. I worked on the DAVIS soccerball memorial you show in the video, and know many of the creation of some of the others you featured. Please check out my UA-cam album video of still pictures of Hope Cemetery to see more of the memorial art in Hope Cemetery.

Very beautiful cemetery indeed. It would have been nice however if Mr. Smith had mentionned Canadians in the list of immigrants buried in this cemetery since this video shows many of their tombstones...Lacroix, Laguerre, Lajeunesse, Paquet, Martel, etc.
