The moment I realized I already had everything I needed in my life, I completely stopped envying others. Cultivating gratitude has been a long and transformative journey that shifted the focus of my thoughts. It helped me regain a positive attitude and a renewed sense of energy. Now, while I may not have everything society deems necessary, I possess something far more valuable: a deeper understanding of what I can control and what lies beyond my control. Since embracing this mindset, I have felt truly amazing.
Maturity in Product Leadership is when you realise the underlying principles of building great products is same as building yourself to greatness, is only possible by going inwards! In is the only way out! Thanks Shreyas for touching upon human aspects as well :)
Love this. Perfect! Better to acknowledge and accept this, and operate with freed up energy than beating self on self imposed highest impossible, infeasible benchmarks
I find this approach useful myself. One more thing that’s been helping to me is to simply witness that an envy, or any negative emotion for that matter, is coming up. Over a period, the witnessing becomes a powerful force to bust these spontaneous bubbles.
It is not a superpower if others don't recognise it as such. So even identifying superpowers is about falling to prey to the same thing that is external to you.

Great content from a great person, thanks for these gems Shreyas!
Great video as always! minor correction : 13:12 -- "we still live in duality"
Yep, thanks for that correction. That’s what I meant but said the opposite in the middle of answering the question.
Fantastic articulation!!!
Absolutely loved it ❤
Thanks Shreyas.
How do you distinguish envy from inspiration from someone?
With envy you are quite unhappy about their wins and somewhat happy about their losses.
