If anyone faces the first issue of not able to install the Wireless Display feature, then just check your WiFi and turn off the METERED CONNECTION option. Hope it works ✌🏼

I had Error 87 at first but it was because I typed a wrong character, "=" instead of "-". Editing it fixed the problem

For some reason the Connect app is not working on my new PC. When I follow the steps, after I click to connect from my phone, it says on my desktop that my "One Plus 5 is about to project".. then it will load for a few seconds and drop out going back to the main screen where it says that "My desktop is ready for you to connect wirelessly".. :(

@@TechSwatch I have done that 3 times already. Even uninstalled the Wireless Display feature and downloaded new drivers from AMD for my RX 580 graphics card.. Now after opening the Connect app i can't even see the desktop being discovered on my phone 😂😭
