MacDuff's Soap/The Shave Supply Catalina First Impression

I was super excited for this collaboration between @theshavesupply and @macduffssoapcompany . I'm a fan of both companies and their collabs are always epic. Upon receiving this, I had it open and was sniffing it before I got out of our kitchen. The first thing that I picked up out of the jar was a mild banana, to which my brain went, "𝘜𝘩-𝘰𝘩...". I'm not a banana guy, and my heart sank as I realized I probably was not going to like it. However, one of the rules of wetshaving is: Never judge a soap but only a tub sniff.
What I realized later is that I was smelling the coconut and ylang-ylang mixed with the rum. Pretty quickly, the lime comes in with the mandarin and ginger. It turns out this is a 100% Summer vacation scent as advertised, lol. I feel bad for judging a book by its cover so quickly. If you're looking for a Summer set, this is it. Well done, gents! 👏🏻

I've never seen such a beautiful brush before! I like the art on the soap haha I don't know if this happens to you but some soaps I don't like at first and then end up loving them when I keep using them. Nice shave have a good week

@@CapeCodWetShaving I’m going to try the Colombian Roast also, Funny story I was squeezing the bag of Columbian roast in Walmart, (because that’s what you do in the coffee aisle) and the bottom exploded “weak seal” I suppose. Made the walk of shame to customer service to clean up the mess lol.
