    Thanks for the review, Jonathan. This is my first time here and I think you sold me on the Winning 2.0.

      The Winning is amazing, beyond my own experience I've not seen a negative review of it yet. If you do get get it, let me know what your experience with it is!

    Got mine yesterday as well. Will Shave with it today at some point.. (I think) 4 days could be 5 days growth.. may wait till tomorrow 😊
    On my original winning razor, I took small black rubber bands (like the ones on the Blackland ERA and used them in the slots on handle… works great)

      Nice, I considered using rubber bands, but just opted to swap handles

      How did you like the winning 2.0? How was the blade feel?

      @@Stubblemeetssteel it’s a great choice.. I like both old and New versions of the Winning Razor! Blade feel is there, but it’s not a lot.
      Another Great Razor is the Liberty Razor from WestCoastShaving. I’m seriously impressed and wish I had bought this one sooner. Not sure why I love it so much… but I do! Shaves fantastic and low blade feel here as well. No bad choice here.

      @@The_One_BABA thank you for the reply. I think I’ll try the winning. The liberty is fancy but a little out of my $$ comfort zone to try. Everyone says this winning is the most mild blade feel yet most efficient razor & that sounds like a winner for $75 in stainless!

    More efficient then the overlander? Interesting! Sounds like it has good audible feedback?? I love a noisy razor.

      Yea it's surprisingly noisy for having no blade gap lol

      @@jonathandavis2419not sure about this one. Might be too much blade feel from what subie is saying. I thought it was more neutral blade exposure

    • @jonathandavis2419
      @jonathandavis2419 9 місяців тому +2

      @@Stubblemeetssteel it's stated as neutral on the website, just has a little blade feel. It doesn't feel aggressive in my experience.

    Could you use it as your daily? I have pretty much same facial hair as you. Been torn between the Overlander, Koppercant and now the Winning. I shave for work so usually daily. You do a great job w the vids btw- really helps!

      Thank you for the compliments! Yes, I use the Winning as a daily driver all the time, that being said, I've not used the new model multiple times in a row. But I don't think it will be an different for daily use then the previous model.

      I love the overlander and the kopperkant plus, but my recommendation would be the Winning.

    Ok now it’s on my list. Good review. How does it compare to Yates 921 M and H? I have both. Have a good one.
    The reason I didn’t buy it before was the lather channels and lack of grip. Both fixed!

    • @jonathandavis2419
      @jonathandavis2419 9 місяців тому +2

      I don't have the M plate, but compared to the H , I would say just as efficient, way less blade feel.

      I have the Aluminum Henson aggressive version, not the titanium version. Don't think I'm gonna buy that one. I like the Henson its a great razor, but the Winning (either version) is more efficient and gives a closer shave.

    HERE IS AN EASY WAY TO DO IT MY FRIENDs" I Do any Shave Pucks or hard Soaps are going to work? You can mix and match old Soaps? to fit in any Mugs or Cups that you like to use. Like (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arko Shave Soaps just to name a few of the ones you could use?) Cut the bar soap up on a paper plate, pour the soap, shavings and chunks from your plate into a mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, microwave the cup, put your paper plate under your cup in case it bubbles out of your cup? for a minute or so? If it foams up, STOP. The water keeps it from burning itself up. (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy, does it? Let cool don't want to Crack the Mugs or Cups you're using? (You just want it to Congeal in your Mug or Cup') it is very hot and watery'''''. let it cool in place. after it cools, put it in the Sun, until the Soap hardens? When using your soaps, use Dry Brush Less Water. It thickens the soap, making it easier to use on your face. For its (Price Point?)' (I use Dove Bar Soaps?) (the Use any Soaps Out there ??) Save your Money, spend it on your wife, don't listen to the shave Mafia. I have been doing this for the last 20 years. It saves me time and Money in these Inflationary Times Wheelchair Larry Happy New Year.
