That thing looks like a pain in the ass to shift. I know my 94 f150 with a 300cu i6 likes t lock me out of gears when I go from neutral and I can't go from neutral to first smoothly even at a stop always gotta go to second gear first
Here’s a tip from a trucker. Find out your minimum speed when you’re in 1st gear with the clutch out. So let’s say 4mph. When you’re coming up to a light, and the speed gets around 5-6 mph, kick the clutch pedal real quick and put it in first. It’s not a double clutch but you’re rev matching that first gear with the idle. Give it a try.
