Star Wars Theory has been shilling hard for the Ahsoka series. This guy has been making excuse after excuse for Filoni's bullshit. It's one thing to like a show, but it's a whole nother thing to be making dumb excuses for bad writing. This isn't the first time Star Wars Theory shilled for Disney. Theory loved the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy when it first came out. Star Wars Theory said that Rey Skywalker would be a great role model for his future Daughter in his now deleted Rise of Skywalker review. Star Wars Theory also loved the Kenobi series when it came out, but now he hates it, just like he hates the sequels.
To all of you who are crying about this, yes, I know Star Wars Theory didn't like how Sabine got stabbed. In fact, I mentioned in the video, you'd know that if you actually watched it. So with all of that being said, why would he make an 8 minute video trying to reason with it and make excuses for it? FYI if a UA-cam video is 8 minutes or more, then it gets mid-roll ads.The whole point of this video was to call out Star Wars Theory for defending something he doesn't like and debunk his claims about Sabine surviving being plausible. That video was 8 full minutes of him repeating the same few talking points over and over again. (its almost like he did that so he could get his mid-roll ads) There's nothing I left out or took out of context.
Except the whole thing he was attempting to clarify his theory on how sabine could have survived in comparison to qui gon and honestly did a much more respectable job on his video compared to yours at least he put effort in. (Apologies this dangerously close to Ad hominem)

@@mertc8050 Ahsoka didn't come from a hospital, she was in her ship. Also Sabines house is pretty far from any civilization, you can see that quite cleary in the episode. it would take over 15 minutes. Not to mention that they’d need to land somewhere, get out, bring Sabine into the hospital, bring her to a room, and then the nurses would have to put her on life support
Ah yes intentionaly misundarstanding to make a point i meant she came from the CITY WHICH OF COURSE HOSPITAL IS AT. And you still cant understand they flew from the city to tower in about 30 seconds. its a 30 second ride back to a hospital and to carry her from ship to hospital bed is less then a minite and life support and all that to be used needs little time compared to what she has since not like she is bleeding anywhere she wont die for hours with a cooked hole at the side of her belly even in a REALISTIC scenerio. Lets say her liver has a hole so what liver is huge and it can REGENERATE and regrow. So no you dont make sense as for qui gon i must say dude got stabbed with the saber trough his SPINE, LUNGS, guts , stomach and possibly the liver so yeah no wonder dude died fast considering the amount of organs that were cooked in him

I'm so glad I stopped watching these things after Mando season 2. Instead, I've found myself re-exploring the classic era of the franchise lately and it's been highly rewarding.
I finally got into the "legends" and it´s infinitelly better than Dissney SW. It only highlights how bad Felony´s fanfics are. I have no reason to ever come back.
The real Thrawn trilogy are the books, not this trash.

I think Theory’s biggest problem is the overwhelming love he gives to Dave Filoni. Even as a person who likes Dave, but admits he has shortcomings, it’s annoying to me seeing Theory praise literally anything Dave does and thinking it’s the best thing ever. He praises him like a god and deflects all criticism from the fans with stupid counter arguments. Come on, Theory, grow up and see the truth.
They both view SW as this bloated mess sugarcoated with nostalgiabait all over.

Remember the times where Robot head complained that in the Force Awakens Rey’s lightsaber didn’t do enough damage to Kylo Ren? Well now we have gotten to the point that three people got struck with the same injury of Qui Gon Jin and survived, hell Reeva even survived twice that wound.
It’s harder to accept Reva getting stabbed give the fact the Obi Wan Kenobi series was poorly written. Vader is the type who would kill without hesitation. Shin, not sure yet
They built up Kylo to be so unbelievably powerful in those movies despite how badly written they can be at times. I don’t doubt in his Uber Sith training to make him superior to Luke and Vader he grew strong enough to survive a scrape from a saber to the face

I do love how theory acknowledges Reva surviving is dumb, but yet completely dismisses Sabine who isn’t even a force wielding as of yet.
If you watch the actual video rather than this video which just picks out what he wants to include, he isn't just completely dismissing it. He thinks it's dumb. He literally says that. But he just tries to explain it for the sake of explaining it. Just like he tried to explain the lightsaber bouncing in Kenobi even though he did not at all like that show and was just explaining it for the heck of it.

STAR WARS Theroy said he was trying to find a way to sleep at night. Watch his video before you critique it, these clips leave out how he literally said he took issues with it , but he wanted to figure out a way to make it work in his head so he could keep watching the show. The man literally spends 99 percent of his time and videos saying how much he hates KK and Disney lol, he watches all the shows and he hates them, Disney and KK. He wants to like them, he loves star wars and the vision of George Lucas, he always says how bad he WANTS them to be good, and always gives them a chance. He has great respect for Dave , but fears kk has ruined him and made him bow the knee. This is a bad place to place an attack on someone, its edited to death and chopped up to leave all the points where he straight out says he needs to make this work in his head and he was trying his hardest to make this show make sense, but he is one of the biggest critics of hiw they have nerfed lightsabers and how no one dies anymore from them and how they bounce off armor and walls now.

Honestly, it was made obvious that Sabine was stabbed off center and to the right. Qui-Gon got it right through the solar plexus. Darth Maul was obviously the better swordsman than Shin. Reva, though, should have bit the dust - unless Vader intended that she survived. He did torture the inquisitors and even cut off their limbs.

Personally, I think you’re being a little harsh, especially towards theory The Man has expressed his dislike of what Disney has done to Star Wars time and time again I think at this point he’s not necessarily trying to back them but makes sense of the product that they keep pushing out at this point which I don’t blame them And personally I think Ashoka has a lot of potential and this might be a hot take , but I think it’s the best they’ve produced in a while yes I agree, and I think the community agrees that they have done very very bad representation of what light saber combat should look like and what it means to be hit by one but at this point we shouldn’t be surprised after what we saw in the sequels

I think it's because Hayden is on this show and given his history being bullied by Star Wars fanatics, I think Theories is just trying to avoid being one of the crowd. Especially since, we were guilt tripped into not criticizing the shows these actors from the past are on. Otherwise, we are like the crowd that didn't like the prequels. You know what I'm saying? Easy explanation, Qui Gon was stabbed in the upper to middle chest region piercing his lungs, while Sabine was stabbed in the lower abdomen area only piercing her liver. Theorys explanation doesn't make sense like how you stated but Sabine living can make sense. Still Sabine should've been stabbed in the leg or something to avoid any of this in the first place.

This whole Ahsoka series really has been aimed at fans of the Star Wars cartoons Disney put out... I've tried and I can't get into it at all... It's just so lame in comparison to the Star Wars I had grown up watching with my Father. I'm going to leave all these series to all the Harry Potter fans Disney has inherited. I get that someone reasonably new to Star Wars might enjoy this somehow but it's a BIG f*ck you to any original Star Wars fans.

The Show looks like Star Wars and people are over acting the negativity this early. GIVE IT A REST ! Not everything is a Kathy project . These are the ones outside of her purview. I gave this show a fair chance. It’s not a good show, it’s filled with plot holes, bad acting and bad writing. Nothing wrong with female characters, but 80% of cast are women. The only male characters are two villains. this is what kk wants #TheForceIsFemale

Ahsoka talks more monotone and calm because she's a Jedi Master very much like Luke in RotJ so people claiming that as "bad acting" is just dumb and how has the writing been bad? Ahsoka could use the force to pick up anybody,, And she can force heal But at least they left that out some people would've been even more annoyed... shin Wasn't there to kill Sabine Otherwise Sabine would be dead... Made people come back for the second episode didnt it... If you're having to make detailed analyses defending these things that should be simple, then you know you've already lost. If being impaled in the stomach is just a minor inconvenience in SW, how the fuck are we supposed to ever know someone has been killed now? At this point a character could have their head severed clean off, and we would still be doubting in the back of their minds whether that actually means they're dead now. And we all know Disney wouldn't dare show their fangirls anything graphic like that.

But yeah there are and never really have been any good excuses on why people are surving gut injuries like this anymore, except for some reason to make poor Qui Gon keep rolling over in his grave lol. And btw attacking someone just trying to make a head canon that works so you can keep an interest in future stuff, and epsecially from such a good person like Theory is a terrible idea and you are screaming pure salt. Eh, Qui-Gon and Sabine were stabbed in different parts of the body, so I don't see the point in comparing them. Sabine's issue is with her liver bleeding, but the lightsaber would've cauterized it to a degree. However, Star Wars hardly ever involves the basic human anatomy when it comes to wounds, so it's good we're getting onto them. There does need to be consistency,.

The main thing we should be bitching about js how did sabine survive or even give a good fight to a dark jedi? Seriously her master is supposed to be like the count in his dueling abilities and sabine isnt a force user, why didnt she get force choked, pushed, why didnt the dark jedi ise the force to enhance her saber fighting and destroy sabine in seconds?! Sabine didnt have her armkr or jet pack, the only reason even the best mandalorian would die in a face to face fight with a force user without armor and tricks, plus a jet pack to move around , she should have been killed straight out. Screw one saber wound , she should have been cut down and dead in seconds, a little training with the dark saber doesn't mean a thing against a force user trained by one of the top living former jedi.
People are stuck on stupid. Anyone without the force shouldnt be abke to fight a force user in combat period. That goes for the sequel trilogy and these shows, it goes against everything we know! Why would being force sensitive mean so much if someone without it coukd train and fight them? Force sensitive people trained in lightsaber fighting and enhanced fighting through the force should be abke to crush even the best fighter with ease. Weve watched the best fughters crushed with the force a million times, thrown, choked , disarmed and man handled, now all of a sudden that doesnt matter as ling as you have a bit of training by one person? The stsb is the least of our issues, sabine fought a dark jedi and actually held her own for awhile, thats an issue, the force is starting to mean nothing real quick in this disney female garbage, lets put our anger where it belongs.

So Qui-gon jinn got stabed pretty match right into the middle of his chest, his spinal cord has been broken , lighstaber damaged the hearth and both lungs. Sabine got stabed into right lower part of her belly, she got probably injured kidney and some veins. Qui-gon died because his main organs were heavly damaged and there were no one to help him.
I'am not defending Star Wars Theory cause some of his 'theories' are just stupid.
Qui-Gon got stabbed in the middle of his chest. Probably had damage done to his heart tbh. Him dying from his particular stab wound makes sense. Lets be honest though, Reva sould have died when she was stabbed as a Padawan. She wasnt even a fully trained Jedi so even the Force couldn't have saved her. Maul was cut clean in half, and it was explained that his hatred/rage boosted his dark side abilities. Sustaining him enough to survive but it also at a cost drove him mad. He's literally, as far as I know, the only Sith in canon to actually cheat death through the dark side of the Force. And Sabine got stabbed in her side, probably where the lung would be. Don't forget lightsaber wound doesn't bleed out. Her surving her wound is plausible. Especially since people in real life have survived similar or greater stab wounds. With the risk of bleeding to death, some ya'll just over think thing or are clearly hating just to hate.
Lightsabers are hot enough to melt a metal door. So with that being said, sabines lungs and stomach would be severely damaged. She would die from these injuries, no way around it

@Kraemerrr Yes, a lightsaber can cut through a metal door, but. When Qui-Gon melted through the metal doors. He was using the Force to amplify the heat of the lightsaber. It wasn't solely the lightsaber doing that also if the lightsaber was always giving off that kind of heat. Do you actually think people would be able to wield it without being burned themselves? Lightsabers don't give off heat. Otherwise, we would see people who regularly use them burn their clothing when in close proximity. Or start to sweat profusely from the intense heat. Another fact to back this up is that we've seen lightsabers be used underwater. Yet they don't boil the water around it. Again, lightsabers don't give off heat but are extremely hot plasma based weapons.
@Kraemerrr Basically, based on what is shown in canon. I'd say that lightsabers are similar to dry ice in a small sense. They don't emit heat to an extreme degree or not at all. But will burn the hell out of anything that touches it.

Anyone who understands Star Wars, knows that the Force wanted Qui-Gon to train Anakin. Him dying was what set Anakin on the wrong path, it went AGAINST the will of the Force.

For the record, that is not the liver, that looks to be the bottom of her right lung, as you can see the curvature of the torso and that's roughly within the ribcage. Not that being stabbed in the liver would be better, as a fatty organ it'd probably cook all the way through.

I think Theory subscribes to I guess the Galen Marek style of survival ...of being stabbed and thrown through a space window by Vader to Vader quickly giving him medical treatment cause it was a ruse to fool the Emperor. Whoever is running these shows does view these characters as anything other than live action video games/ cartoons these days.

Its annoying for sure, and Theory even agrees with that. But its hard to always be negative. I actually used to be a hardcore hater of the sequels (still dont like them and dont really consider them canon), the "MSheU" etc. And i used to follow channels like Nerdrotic all the time. I stopped actively hating on the sequels every chance i got (doesnt mean i changed my opinion), i unsubscribed from Nerdrotic as well. That guy is just negative just to be negative.
My point is its tiring to constantly be negative. Thats why ive always stuck by Theory and have not other creators. Bad take. It’s about internal consistency. Even if you excuse the fact that they’re equating a lightsaber wound to a regular sword wound, literally every Star Wars character impaled by a lightsaber before the Disney+ shows has died from it.
And to your point, Sabine’s survival wasn’t treated as some one-in-million miracle in the show. They treated her more like she just broke her leg or something.
