Got 3 74 chargers had a u code 73 charger basket case you know it came with screw in lower ball joints and the k frame use the 70 strut bushing which is smaller and 73 was the only year for the rag joint in the steering. Pretty cool car nice that you were able to pass it on.
Have sketches/doodles of 'coke bottle' chargers, early A- bodies, powerwagons, ramchargers, and superbird/daytonas. As a 6th grade crosswalk guard, a sublime green/black top/int superbird stopped by my side of the intersection.
(Darn Cat!) I shouted something like 'cool car mister!' Driver said 'watch this kid!' Drove mellow across the intersection- then buried the pedal, slammed it into 1st, tire smoke rolling, engine screaming, barked going into 4th gear- wow!
Told my Dad and we went the same path in our pug-nose '66 chevy van. You could see the trak-lok marks- even the bark going into 4th!. By his clothes- I think the driver was a service manager for nearby Mill Plain Chry/Ply. When I was older, I bought parts there- bunch of the guys there told me they had scooped up muscle cars for cheeeep during and after the second oil embargo. People would trade them in for pennies compared to their street value even then, just to get an econo-box.
There's a 71 charger R/T a few miles from me, hemi orange, black vinal top, black stripe, original paint! There letting it sit outside and rot down, it did have a good vinal top but it's done gone bad, sad thing is its been sitting by an empty garage! I've asked them about it several times but just get the runaround. They probably won't part with it until it's not worth fixing.
Sad. Unfortunately not a rare situation. The same happened to a late Challenger here. They wanted a ridiculous amount of money for years. The amount came down around the time the rear leaf springs went through the trunk floor, but it was still too much.
I have a 73 Charger just like that and I used to have a 68 wish I still had it but mine's a little bit rustier love watching these

Love our 73 charger
Chrysler’s at Carlisle next weekend 7/15-7/17
I know… I wish I could make it. Unfortunately I have some nightmares to deal with.
Aaaahhh that makes me sad you sold it. I love the 73's. Love these videos though dude. Keep up the awesome work
I love them too. Seriously thought I’d be doing cool stuff with this one. But… ‘68…
@@DeadDodgeGarage yeaaaah you can't exactly beat the 68 lol. It's so iconic

Amazing. I have seen one wing car in person ever. It was a clone, and I didn’t get very close to it. What a sight though.

Hey don't forget to swap the demon starter of that dumptruck
Damn thing wouldn’t fire the last time I tried. Cranked over fine though. Haha. Thank you.
