I love your very simple regimen. It really doesn’t have to be complicated does it? Nor do you have to use expensive products. Thank you
I love to keep my hair journey in general simple. So what you see is what I do with my hair. Simple is better!
Very beautiful and simple 🤩💖, thank you, this is going to be my next protecting hair style, am in love with this, thank you 😊❤️🕊️🙏
The Queen of a meaningful hair care: great job! Keep the good job coming:
Oh wow thank you so much. I am glad you found this routine helpful.
I also do some braids and some twists but not because I want volume because I never knew it gave that ,i just get exhausted doing all the hair on my head ..The hair doesn’t finish 😭😭❤️Lovely video 💕

You’re beautiful!💫
Thank you so much😍
I read where you said you do a protein treatment once a month, please can you do a process of your protein treatment and the product you use for protein treatment?
I can share that with you sometime in the future for sure. But it’s quiet simple. I will definitely share in a video next time. Thanks for asking
Sending you positive vibes. Appreciate the tips. I plan to use on my natural hair
Thank you so much. I love to hear that the tips I am sharing are helpful. Thank you for your support always
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower Very Welcome
Barbara I love your hair darling♥️♥️🔥, am also on a growth journey and I Wish for the best, your videos motivate me alot, hearts from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪💞
Yay! I love Kenya. Lots of love for you all. I am glad you are on this journey too. Thank you for being part of my growing family here on UA-cam. I appreciate your support
Dr. Karen, a trichologist here on YT debunked the myth that grease os impenetrable. According to her, greases free of parabens and such have a nom-comedegenic rating of Zero (who knew). Sometimes i hop in the shower or under the faucet to water rinse some of the grease away or i will reactivate the grease already present in my hair. I've seen no adverse affects and have been employing this method since last year. I keep my haorstyles simple like you Barbara. I will either do chunky braids (roots) and twist the rest of the way (cocoon my ends) or i will habe four braids (one in eachbquqdrant). I am gonna keep wigging it til i get to year four (March 2024). I remove my wigs daily (absolutely).
You're Beautiful thanks for the tips live saver.
Thank you so much darling. Your support on this channel means a lot to me. I am glad the tips were helpful.
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower My pleasure Honey
you're a Darling as well
I recently bought a tub of good ole hair grease! I may have to include it in my regimen because my hair is super super dry these days!
Try it and see if the dryness will go away. I don’t like it when my hair is dry so I will do anything to make it go away. Let me know if it helps
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower yes! I will! I hate when my hair is dry as well. I live in a cold climate (Toronto) so it’s usually dry for my hair. Have you experienced any build up or difficulty washing the grease out of your strands with shampoo?
Hi Ms. Barbara, do you use protein treatments? And how often do you trim your hair? Thank you for the video
Hello, yes I do use protein treatments once a month. I do trim only when it’s needed so I no longer have a specific time period when I trim. I used to trim twice a year but last year I only trimmed once so it depends really
nice
Thank you for the video! Your hair is growing beautifully. Do you have to shampoo your hair to remove the hair grease? I want to use hair grease more but do not want to have to shampoo my 4c hair weekly after applying the product.
Thank you so much for watching my videos. Yes I do have my regular shampoo that I use regardless if I applied grease or not. I do shampoo my hair weekly when I apply grease but you don’t have to wash your hair every week. You can wash every after two weeks. When I use grease, I don’t moisturize my hair during the week because it helps lock in moisture for a long time.
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower You are welcome. Thank you so much for your guidance. I may try to go two weeks without remoisturizing my hair but I am not sure if it will get too dry. If I try to rinse the hair grease out without shampooing it sometimes, I am not sure if the moisturization process will be effective.
When I was little I used to have full long and black virgin hair.. now my hair is relaxed all brown and sunny..
I miss my child hood hair. I want to start all over again
It is not too late to start over again. Sometimes that’s the best decision you can make for your hair. I had long thin brown relaxed hair before I chose to cut it all off. It was hard but look at my hair. This is the healthiest it has ever been in my life.
Great video how comes you do both braids and twists?
Hey, I needed some volume on my hair that’s why.
I love it
Thank you so much 🥰
Did you spritz some water prior to adding the leave in conditioner ?
Yes dear, my hair was damp when I filmed. I can’t apply my leave in on dry hair- I probably didn’t say anything about water but yeah my hair was damp before my leave in.
Do you undo the braids, when you go for work or out?
No. I tie the braids in a low bun and go to work. You can also put on a wig if you have one.
Pls can you tell me the best hair cream for virgin hair ,not to tangle I want it be straight
Natural hair is usually curly kinky and etch so there is no product or cream that can keep it straight but there are styles such as braids or twists that can keep your hair in a stretched form so that it is not tangled up.
Hello, can you substitute grease with Shea butter
Yes ofcourse. I sometime use Shea butter
How is the Rosemary oil working out for you?...just asking for a feedback ...thanks
My hair stays moisturized and shinning. My hair is soft and fluffy. So far so good. I will wait about one month for me to give you all some general feedback on it.
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower thank you so much...I too followed your Rosemary oil recipe...and am using it as you said ..so far so good as you said ..as well... thank God...and thank you....I await your general feedback.
.so as to compare notes.
God Bless
Will you loc your hair
No darling I don’t plan on loc’n my hair anytime in the future? My hair will remain like this for a long time as it grows fuller
Hi Barbs, how did you stretch your hair in this video?
Hey, I twisted and braided up my hair as may have seen in this video. I will have my hair like that for a week and then take it out wash and repeat.
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower Thank you.
Barbara are you from uganda?
You do this all year round?
Pretty much. This is what I do weekly all year round
How old is your natural hair
My hair is 5 years
@@BarbaraBirungiSunflower Beautiful hair Queen I just started over a month ago I've only been taking care of my hair for almost 2 months now before heat damage my hair was 24 inches long now it's about 12-13 inches long it only took me 2- years to get my hair to 24 inches so I'm repeating my hair routine so I can grow my hair back out healthy I just started doing Aloe Vera and funegreek Ginger and rosemary treatments on my hair Spraying my hair everyday and in 2 weeks my hair grew a inch in a half so I'm going to continue to my routine 🖤👑

Sorry I have been moving that’s why I didn’t post last week. Yes, my hair was damp a little bit before I applied the leave in conditioner. I will do that video am not sure when but I will. Thank you for watching my videos. I missed you too!
