In a touge a battle, it's a Uphill and Downhill battle of cat and mouse between drivers, in a grip run, drifting is another form of technique to prevent the follower from overtaking the leader.
@@officernate4460 I am well aware about that but what I was talking about is Japan and its pretty uncommon to drift in touges nowadays (but I'm not saying that nobody does that anymore in Japan) and especially when the Japanese government made most of the mountains (touge) impossible to drift/race on like adding speed bumps and such, an example would be Mount Haruna (or famously known as Mount Akina) where they added speed bumps to the five consecutive hairpins. But there some touges that are specifically for drift/races, an example is Gunsai. It was originally a cycling touge but change into a drift/race touge for a reason that i do not know of. Anyways, if I got anything wrong it would be great for someone to correct me so I can change any misleading knowledge. Cheers!
No... keep street racing on the street. No regulations.. just drivers with there cars battling for and to keep the top. Raphaël... you sound inexperienced? Have you ever truly raced on the streets?
@Maximo Moline Yeah from what I've heard he is based on someone called kunimitsu Takahashi who was the first person to drift and invented drifting but ive also heard that hes based on some one who used to drive a white rx7 on japanese mountains but I donr know who that is
WHEN I ALWAYS WATCH SUCH VIDEOS, DAMN I MISS SOO MUCH THE OLD DAYS RACING WITH MY 180SX, THE ADRENALINE WAS SOO HIGH I STILL FEEL IT TODAY WHEN I THINK ABOUT THOSE MOMENTS, I NEVER HAD ANOTHER TUNED RACING CAR AGAIN, NOW I'M TOO OLD FOR THIS ! LOL
It looked like he had some serious negative camber on his front wheels, so his cornering speed was good, but I think he lost out on some of the straights.
The AE86 driver turns in too late. If anything, the civic would easily pass on the uphill, but the 86 is all over the road, making it difficult. It's obviously able to execute high speed cornering and excels at that, but when it comes to the lower speed stuff, it lacks the low end power. Edit: Jeez. I was kinda cringe half a decade ago ngl
Those cars speed is no joke. This is back when the Japanese has cash lying around that enables them to buy performance cars and parts and it's affordable.
A juzgar por la forma del coche y como se ven las luces traseras, creo que es un otro civic, no se si el type R (ósea el EK9) o el normalillo (el EG6, igual el coche se ve mejor en el 2:05)

damn, doing a touge racing with eurobeat is like every man dreams
Until you bin it or blow up an engine (twice)
If only the idea of the ebisu touge was more common, then that would mean less dreaming.
Place Holder bruh this shit be happening all the time stop acting like its uncommon
