As always, great stuff, Tim. Ansel Adams was a real beacon of wisdom. Love the “knowing where to stand.” Quote. Good in all facets of life.

Great and inspirational video. Thank you.
"Does this subject move me to feel, think, and dream?" has been written on the back of the camera.
A perfect statement. I have found myself forgetting my original passion for the craft.
All photographs are unique and the above quote makes them more so.

Another great and timely video for me. I need to take a breath, plan more, less spray & pray!🤓

Tim, really enjoyed this "teaching video" and relationship to Ansel Adams thoughts. First, let me say I agree with the AA statements. Nice to hear the words reverberate when you say them. I do take some exception with your statement "shoot less, think more". I completely understand what you are referring to. As a new photographer with less than 1 1/2 years experience I find that "Shooting more" some of the time is more educational for me. As long as I have a plan, it helps me learn what my camera and lenses are capable of. I think for the experienced photographer your comment would be a reasonable suggestion. Not everyone feels this way though..

Hi dance2jam, It the shooting without a plan that I think people need to eliminate. Thanks for your comments and good luck, get out and practice as much as you can. Tim

Hi great videos thanks. I'm always having trouble take photos of birds in flight. What are the best settings. I have a canon 7D M2 .

On my website there's a blog posting for the 7D Mark II AF settings. there are actually 3 blog posts on how to setup the 7D mark II on the website - timboyerphotography.com.
