I have watched a good dozen or so of your videos in recent days. This has been my favourite thus far. The tips are clearly well thought out, well explained, and the pace moves quickly to the next tip. You held my interest from beginning to end.

This is great man - I mean I don't take bird photos but it's nice to see these more in depth videos rather than just a rule or two

Some wonderful photographic efforts to illustrate your points. What I do appreciate was that it made rethink things that I was starting to take for granted.

I have a few comments. First and foremost, this video is one of the best I have ever seen on this subject. It’s concise, clear, and packed full of useful ideas. One small quibble: ditch the tinkly elevator music in the background! I would suggest that if you feel that removing distracting background elements is OK then you should also consider blurring or otherwise altering parts of the background. I don’t buy the argument that it’s OK to use a $12,000 lens to blur the background but somehow “cheating” to blur it in post. It takes patience and care to make the masks, but there are many tutorials on the subject. The sharper you can get the bird’s outline the easier it is to make and use the masks.

Fantastic video. I love all the examples of your beautiful pictures to show what you are talking about. Can't wait to get out there and have these tips in the back of my mind. Thank you Tim.

Great information. I'm new to bird photography and I'm struggling to manage the technical elements; i.e. shutter speed to stop action and ISO to limit noise. Once I accomplish this, I'll move to the artistic elements.

Another interesting video Tim. I am familiar with most of what you discussed but was really interested in the section relating to the zonal areas such as 70% of viewers look firstly at the top left etc.
