your awesome....you always makes things easy for me. it does not matter who else uploads tutorial videos...i'd skip all to your one even if i'd be a martyr. :D
Hi Alberto, matter: vowel /æ/ and a flap T, mother: vowel /ʌ/ and a voiced TH here's a video for "mother" ua-cam.com/video/cFW1s3g-TjE/v-deo.html martyr: diphthong "are" and "der". Murder: "er" and "der" I talked about the word "murder" in last Friday's class, here's a link to that: ua-cam.com/video/druTnJub3yM/v-deo.html
Often when a /t/ is between 2 vowels and doesn't start a stressed syllable, it will be pronounced as a "flap" which is more like a /d/. You can learn more about this here: ua-cam.com/video/nbjFXTv6pZ0/v-deo.html
Hi, I'm not familiar with the name, what I found when googling it was /'mæði/ "MA-thee" but if you know someone with that name, the best thing to do is ask them how they pronounce it, because names can vary.

Why do you change the sound (t) to (d)?
Often when a /t/ is between 2 vowels and doesn't start a stressed syllable, it will be pronounced as a "flap" which is more like a /d/. You can learn more about this here: ua-cam.com/video/nbjFXTv6pZ0/v-deo.html
@@SpeechModificationThank you so much..I appreciate your answer
@@abdulsalamhussein3627 You're very welcome.
Hi teacher, I heard the word " wanted " as waned . Is that correct
We often drop the "t" sound in words with "NT" in the middle, so yes, it will sound like "wan-id."
@@SpeechModification Thanks a lot teacher
Hi Christine! Can you raise your voice louder? Your videos are always low sound.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what I can do.
@@SpeechModification it has happened just in this video I think
Looks like some of the recent videos are pretty low volume, so I'll adjust my settings.
@@SpeechModification absolutely ma'am u are right
