How does charge? Is it battery operated?

Can you open and lock door from anywhere you are?
Yes! It is still one of our favorite things. It also notifies us if the door is unlocked.
how long do the batteries last
I would say on average we have to change them about every six months.
Is it battery operated ? Do you need to charge the battery every now and again ?
The lock takes 4 AA batteries. We have to change them once every 4-5 months. It is a little annoying because we procrastinate, but it doesn't just died one day. The unlocking will slow down over a week or so and a light blinks indicating to change the batteries.
How u set the code
+YUKU You can set the code online through an app or add it manually by pushing a button on the inside of the door.
You can just smash the window and open the door from inside..... hardly smart
