    Watched your video for the 1st time yesterday. I have a short cut like yours. I sleep crazy and was having such a hard time maintaining my hair salon hairdo after a week. Your video helped me so much!!! I wrapped and molded my hair and bent the ends real quick and had an awesome look for Sunday. I received many compliments. Thank you!!

    I've had my Gold n Hot dryer for 20 years! And it still works as good as the day I first bought it. I love it. Mine has a knob though! I just cut my hair down as short as yours bout to mold it!

    Happy to say that from watching your video, I'm on the right track when it comes to molding my hair😆. The only thing that's different is that I use a mesh net which wraps around the perimeter of my head and I use ORS foam wrap 👍. I gave a little length in the front of my pixie which is sometimes a tiny bit damp when I leave the dryer so I just let that dry overnight under my silk scarf. Thanks so much for sharing your technique💋

    I have short hair. I am in the salon every Saturday morning. She spot relaxes the taper in the back, shampoo, and styles my hair. I am relaxed and have bleached hair. My scalp itches! After about 3 days, I cannot scratch enough to get relief...could I be allergic to products my stylist is using? I do not add any product to may hair during the week because my hair is very fine and gets a greasy look....any reason as to why my scalp itches so?

    • @iamAyanaAbakah
      @iamAyanaAbakah  8 років тому +1

      +Brittany L Hi! You could be allergic to something or stylist is using or something that you are eating internally. Dry and itchy scalp sometimes stems from things on the inside. I recommend going to a dermatologist to get a more in depth check up.

    Hi Ayana, thank you for this video and touching on how you dry your hair. I can air dry with a fresh relaxer and I mean Fresh but outside of that I definitely agree it's a smoother finish with that heat.

    I tried to mould my natural hair, it does not work. I have extremely course, kinky 4c Southern African hair. I tried to blow dry it, mould it with lottabody mousse and then use a hair straightener, once it dried, it would not mould, it just sprung back to its natural state even after straightening. So now I'm gonna relax it lol

      Hey! If it’s Nutress I don’t dilute it. I only dilute Nairobi and that’s half foam lotion half water per bottle.

      Same way, just make sure the foam is applied close to the root.

    It does not take a scientist to relax hair , follow simple directions they don't do anything special when you go to the salon.

    • @iamAyanaAbakah
      @iamAyanaAbakah  6 років тому +1

      It depends on who’s doing it at home versus the salon. I’ve had clients come in with a messed up relaxer because they tried to do it at home and wasn’t able to process it all over or they over processed their hair. You may be able to relax your own hair but everyone cannot and should not.
