Lol Mizani or Affirm Relaxer Nairobi Foam Color Charm Demi permanent Red Kiss Jumbo Wrap Strips (the black ones) KeriCare Wax Stick The Ordinary Marula Oil Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo/Conditoner Nairobi Leave In Conditioner Dr. Miracles Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment Ampro Clear Ice Gel (to secure the sides and back when you’re molding the hair) Sebastian Shaper Hairspray A hooded dryer (skip them dryer bonnet attachments, they’re childish lol) And of course a heat protectant if you’re going to use heating tools I hope this helps ❤
How often do you recommend to relax your hair? I cut my hair a couple weeks back and I’m struggling to know when I should do a relaxer and how often I should relax
@ I mainly relax the back and sides and that’s usually 2/3 wks. A full head retouch that includes the top/crown usually every 6wks. My back & sides grows out quickly so I’m usually cutting off whatever I relax.
Since you relax every two weeks can I ask specifically which relaxer you use,lye,no lye... what strength? I had a big chop as my last relaxed hair went all ghetto on me and now I have healthy natural that I don't know how to maintain so I'm looking for a relaxer that won't strip it off my scalp again.
I am so proud of you. Most of my UA-cam babies have gorgeous natural hair. Wigs are fine but if you don't take a break, the wigs will break your hair down and smother the hair. Braids will take out your edges.
