Hi, Brandy! I’ve been using a satin-lined shower cap-type thing for sleep, but it always crimps my hair (usually worst around the hairline in the back), so I have a lot of work to do in the morning. (Usually have to wet it, blow dry/heat to get it to look right). I have short, baby fine, oily, (Caucasian) hair. I try to only wash it once a week or so. It’s dyed blonde, so satin (I thought) would be good to ward off excessive breakage. Any advice on pinning it or what caps/wraps to try? I even asked my 98 y/o grandma and she had no advice! Thanks in advance!
On Amazon they have some really comfy satin lined sleep caps that look kind of like beanies. That’s what I use for my super fine (caucasian) pixie cut. No lines, no creasing and they’re adjustable so my granddaughter can wear them too!
I know I don't have the same texture of hair as you (I'm black) but my hair will crease like a 🤬... what I've found to help is to wrap my hair first with a wrap strip before I put my scarf on top, BUT do not wrap it too tightly because that will leave a crease too

Hi my hair is actually short but it’s curled and I tried a mesh wrap and not only did it completely flatten my curls but the hair on my neck sweated out. Any advice if you wanna keep your curls overnight? I’m relaxed and currently only using a silk pillowcase.
I have the same issue. My hair is curled all over, but any way I tie it down, my curls are gone the next day. The only way I can preserve is to not get any sleep and try to prop my head up all night 😩

Hey yes, you can actually just tie it down flat using an edge scarf or a full-star depending on how it’s styled

Yes if you can keep it tied up when you work you’ll likely have less repairing to do afterwards
Even if your styles is all the way on too of your eyebrows, in front of your face. That will still work.
