I absolutly love huge games like these, and would LOVE to see these 2 host another big battle - perhaps a Christmas special? Sounded like Beard just needs to paint a bit more Iron Warriors 😋

As an Eldar, White Scars, Admech player I've never been very fond of Chaos in any form but somehow through sheer style and character of both his army and himself Beard has made Iron Warriors my favorite army to watch on this channel and on demand by far. Iron within, iron without!

Loved the game, though 😢 at how lucky the Dark Pact was for Beard. As a CSM main since 9th, i am also Dark Pacting every time but paying much more for it
I always like seeing people mixing 40k and Horus Heresy miniatures together as an army also my tactical and terminators units are all from Horus Heresy

A thought i had during the game wich i dunno is correct or not, hence i voice it to get oppinions on it : The Nidz dont FEEL killy enough ? i know 10th is a less killy edition but still ? and nidz are 1 codex ahead of the iron warriors if i remember correctly. not sure if im right or wrong ? also movement wise, they seem like a slow army ?
For the record this is NOT a criticism or yelling at either players or TTT in general. im just voicing a general feeling i got about the nidz wich is my favrorite army so i might be bia's :D hence im looking forward to a good debate ? maybe ? :)
Not at all. Personally, I think combat in general is a bit weak in 10th and could do with being amplified a bit so definitely agree as Nids are traditionally very Killy in combat.

I cant say i am a strategic mastermind but i sould definitely have the points with my marines to give you a good 10,000 point giggle, even with the loss of a few legendary units and new points, my craftworlds are another option if you are ever interested 😊

I loved this game, two of my fav presenters fieling two of my favorite armies, on a huge scale with tons of fun units. Add Fletchers amazing paintjob on the Nids, the awesome sight of the Lord of Skulls. The explosions (those poor termagaunts). Bliss

Can anyone tell me where to find some lore behind Ignis Ungala because I have not heard of him before, and it keeps coming up with a thousand sons character lore
He’s my own Warlord for my Iron Warriors. Short version is that he was blown to pieces by the T’au (in a game YEARS AGO) and was reforged by the dark mechanicum and stomps the battlefield with bionic limbs.

How does Beard activate Dark Obscuration and still get shot?
Dark Obscuration always gives Stealth, but only gives the "Can't be shot outside of 12" bit with Mark of Nurgle, and the Terminators were Mark of Slaanesh

A piece of constructive criticism: I don't know what is with your videos guys, but as a non-native speaker I don't catch half of the things you say. I think you should invest in better microphones or maybe try to speak slower/louder. I watch A LOT of EN content in UA-cam and I only struggle with yours...

This first battle round just confirms for me, that resolving damage should be done at the end of the battle round. Alpha strike units and the way set up and determine first round goes just skews the game towards the player with first turn, imo, and can absolutely ruin games.
With the 'apocalypse' method of damage and destroying, first strike units would be less impactful, as the second turn player can always strike back with 100% efficiency.
Either way, fantastic game, I thoroughly enjoyed it, while it distracted me from cleaning the bathroom😅

@@tabletoptactics somehow my Dimachaeron has never achieved anything, it always dies before reaching combat. My last game, the same happened with my Haruspex and Screamer-killer, both of which were fielded for the first time.
New model syndrome, combined with alpha strikes, make for some very sad moments 😅

huge shout out too you guys and gurls! best BRs on YT. I've played in 3. to 7. edition and something that always strikes me, in my memory the maps were way bigger. It took me (eldar player back in the days) like 2 turns to get into contact and had huge ranges(30"-50" inches) I could play with and our average army size was around 1500-2000k points. Also. the gameplay itself seems to be way faster . Maybe it's just my twisted memory. Anyway, I like your content!

That is a Tyranid Dimachareon, an old Forgeworld model that they don't sell anymore sadly

I did the math (going into the warhammer app and seeing how many points it is) and one of every single tyranid unit available is still about 2 thousand points away from 10k points
