Phase two, part two! The IVth Legion's Grand Battalion certainly lived up to its name. Hundreds of thousands of space marines, armed and armoured to the teeth and beyond even for astartes. Yup, that sounds like the mech-obssessed battle brothers that they've always been. Although its potent effectiveness seemed somewhat...dishonoured, if not diminished, for the ever-present “more meat for the grinder” attitude towards the noted reduction in numbers of legionnaires themselves. The suit shown after 3:45 is quite an emblematic example of the Iron Warriors' distinctions; the muster of tank and armour models following is also awesome-looking. Ah, afterwards these guys have several other great artworks profiled here in particular; terrific tech style. “Bombardments as works of art”, how...er, lovely in war. Ultimate greasemonkey-warriors demanding of its members...ingenuity? To domineer and overbear a battle or campaign, at least. Flat-out, this legion's structure obviously made complete customized sense to its identity, purpose and tactics, all the way to as specific as the Dominators. Hearing tell of the Stor-Bezashk alone makes me want to read or hear Narrated an Iron Warriors novel with those siegebreakers included. Even though the IVth trained a separate branch of human army to act as oppressors... With this topic for starters, I think that the choice of a single video per legion in this series now is more suitable, despite what I'd speculated before, Narrator. It's interesting to more concisely compare each set of primarchs' scions' operational identities further. Thank you very much, GDN, as always for this and all of your channel work. Have a healthy and awesome following week. The Emperor protects.
Man I really love that picture of Perturabo in his Artificer Centurion Terminator Armor and his warriors with him. He has no weapons in his hands like his hammer but the weight of his armor and firepower mounted to his wrists just screams indestructible. He's the "unstoppable force" to Dorns "immovable object." I really like Karl Kopinskis stuff but this image by Mikhail (I think is his name) takes the cake.
🔴 Khorne Magic: Metal (Iron=Blood)! Perturabo the Daemon Primarch of Khorne and his Iron Warriors, with iron bodies bleeding iron blood! (More terrifying, despite their rage their minds are intact) Perturabo the master of Metal Magic, creating Iron Sorcerers of Khorne! (Perfect example Azariah Kyras Daemon Prince of Khorne) Not Kharn but Kroeger the Betrayer!
One things for sure the iron Warriors knew how to get things done specially when making the planet of Brigannion Four into an impenetrable wasteland of defenses that's if i" recall they did🤔? well they don't call it the planet of steel for nothing😀👍
I don't know if this belongs in this chat but I really need lore explaining the novel series Eisenhorn and Ravenor. I read and loved Eiesenhorn but something seems missing. Do I need to read the Ravenor series?
Without Perturabo, Horus would've gotten nowhere fast. All his other allied primarchs were idiots, insane or so unpredictable as to be useless by that point.
Oh yeah Perturabo is definitely the prettiest waitress at the truck stop / the only traitor primarch who understands their own infrustructure... but Angron's problems were caused by other people and Perturabo pretty much just wrecked his life himself. @@GrimDarkNarrator

Yes same here Mike i agree on a single video of each chapter 😀👍
"Perturabo was quite a bitter, resentful man."

Iron Within, Iron Without!
You need more fiber in your diet brother.
Suck it Valrak!
@@lordnagatron Just the blood of my enemies, isn't that healthy?
Iron within, iron without ! Our iron will not rust ! Never faulter and victory at all cost !
Probably my favorite Traitor Legion. If I ever play a Horus Hersey setting game as Chaos it will be an Iron Warriors force if I have my way.
Iron within, brothers
A lot of the iconic Iron Warriors stuff you can't use in 40k. GW's treatment of the traitor legions in 9th and 10th edition has pissed me off.
What have they removed for the Iron Warriors, I haven't played 40k in over a decade.

Glory to the iron 4th!

Gotta love P.bo and the boys, no matter how sullen they may be.
Inaccurate, didn't see an iron warrior carry a shovel once in this video.

Iron Within
From Iron cometh strength.
1st to 1st, 1st to like, 1st to watch.
Iron Warriors are my second fav legion after World Eaters. Petrurabo's dumber than Angron.
Without Perturabo, Horus would've gotten nowhere fast. All his other allied primarchs were idiots, insane or so unpredictable as to be useless by that point.
