Great video. Isn't it better to record your voice and guest voice as mobile-phone audios when doing a zoom interview, as audio quality in zoom is not very good?
can i ask about the result of zoom exported from filmora? my result video are very blurry and not clear while actuall zoom result are absolutely fine.. any tips bro?
@@SahamPemula Zoom only records a maximum of 1280 x 720 if there are more than two participants. It’s a major factor on why I ditched it started paying for StreamYard. Your blurriness might be because the source video from Zoom is pretty poor quality in the first place?
Hi Justin, Thanks for this video. I'm currently working towards putting together an interview and I admit I was absolutely lost as to what program to use, cost, ease of use etc. Your video cleared up a lot of those questions. Now, I'm off to watch your microphone recommendation video and get it done. Thanks! Lee - The Throat Cancer Guy
Wow I've been searching for a long time and finally, I'm here. Always follow your Channel back to back. Thanks for your awesome video. I'm enjoying open camera now lol
The common and unnoticed thing on youtube is actually the one who know all the things about youtube and being a pro in creating content and delivering it and giving tips to grow the youtube channel are the ones who are delayed on their success..and the one who know nothing about it are having the million subs and views....sad truth of youtube...BUT KNOW ONE THING SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE
To all the person who read this, never give up on your dreams, even you fail many times because in every failure you learn experience, until you succeed... Thank you be happy always and God Bless us all😇😇😇😊😊😊😊
I have used Skype, Restream, Riverside and now Streamyard. I like Streamyard the best. I had nothing but problems with Riverside. The first two recordings had me very excited. Then, the magic editor wouldn't work. Next, the uploads were missing fragments of time. i spent more time trying to piece together interviews that I gave up on them. I love the concept but it still needs a lot of work.
Thank you for another fantastic video Justin. Just what I was looking for! Now I am wondering if I can use my old Logitech HD 1090p webcam or my Canon DSLR to record (or my iPhone Max 12 - but I have a PC). I guess I need to use my old webcam for interviews since it is connected to my PC? Thanks again. Your content is awesome...I'll check out the videos in your end screen.
You're welcome! In terms of your camera, it depends on how you personally like to record your interviews. You can record online interviews with any of the devices you mentioned 👍
Hey Justin!! I can't thank you enough for your Da Vinci Resolve tutorials. It really helped me get on board. And I was actually able to edit and finish my video. I think that's a great achievement just with one tutorial!! If I could ask you one thing for a beginner what mic should I invest in. I had to do a complete voice over because my voice recording was noisy. I just used my smartphone. I could save a lot of rework if I invest in a good mic. To start with. I will be really glad if you could answer this with a beginner in mind.
Thank you for the video. I have an S5 and I’m looking into shooting a corporate interview where the interviewer will be asking questions via zoom from a remote location. Is there anyway to record the interview in camera(to sd card) while simultaneously feeding the signal to zoom? I want to use one camera and not a multicam setup. Is a capture card or live streamer required? Thanks.
Only a few minutes in... but isn't the 40 minute limit on Zoom a bit of a problem? Admittedly, I have to stop every 30 minutes anyway though to restart the camera on my host (I use Skype vid for the guests but DSLR for the host)! Restarting the camera is one thing (and I just leave Skype running and use the clapper again to sync the new camera recording), but I don't fancy the idea of restarting a call -- not great with less tech savvy guests and more disruption to the flow of the conversation. I currently use a couple of instances of OBS to record separate video of two guests to edit later with the camera footage, doing various screen splits in the edit. ETA: free cost and Linux compatibility are big things for me too!
Is there the video on Skype, I’m interviewing the guest who only prefers Skype, can’t find good tutorial on how do a Skype meeting with multiple people on, how to customize view for best viewing so both people can be seen and how to share video during interview…
Skype is not a popular option these days, i'm sure there's videos about it but tools like zoom and riverside make this process easier and higher quality now
Riverside is the ideal. I tried it and it bombed multiple times during recording and if your guest has poor internet, you’ll be waiting hours and hours for it to upload. Also, audio sync was out of sync against the video content and other audio recordings. I cancelled my subscription after the first use. I’m still keeping an eye on it but it was a poor experience first time around.
I been using zoom, and I tried to make the best possible settings, yet my videos are tiny, 640 × 360 Can someone explain why and if I can change this to higher on the free version? Thnx.

I just need one-on-one interview software that records and has an audio adjustment feature as if being done on person.

Hey! If the time limit has been an issue for you, it's probably best to upgrade your Zoom account 👍

Do you get interview subjects to sign a release before using them in your UA-cam videos? Is this necessary?
Hey! It can be a good idea to do this, just to confirm you have permission from your interview subjects 👍
Good video
Thanks, Kevin!
I Like your vedios🥰
